Shared astral projection/dream

This isn't exactly a normal AP experience, lucid dream or OBE. It was induced by LSD and cannabis, and shared with my brother.

We shared, what I believe is very related to an OBE or astral projection. We were walking down the road and this very unusual and lightening feeling started occurring withing me. It felt as though I had broken through a barrier, through into some sort of realization or epiphany of the moment. I was deeply engaged in the moment, and as I continued to walk down the road it didn't feel as though I was walking, rather floating. This was unlike anything I had ever experienced before, and totally unique from my few AP and OBE experiences. I felt connected with the earth, as though we were all one unified energetic entity.

After this period of absolute bliss and self-realization, I looked behind me because it felt like I was floating out of body. I looked behind and I saw myself walking. It looked perfectly real and animate, just as though I was looking at a clone of myself. The body shattered outwards into hundreds of tiny pieces then dissolved into nowhere. I looked over to my brother who was walking right next of me in complete shock, and asked him if he witnessed it. He was wide-eyed and in the same boat as me. We were experiencing this together, he felt the change in his consciousness and he saw my body behind me shatter into pieces.

My brother is not someone who would lie about this sort of thing. We were both in complete awe having realized a completely new altered state. An altered state we had never heard of before, and what would normally think is non-existent.

I meant that while I don't doubt that it was a unique kind of heightened other-planar experience, it was probably a direct result of the drugs and probably cannot be duplicated without them.

Entheogens can be used as a catalyst for experiencing such altered states. It's not just the drugs. I have experienced astral projection, lucid dreaming, and OBE's without the aid of entheogens, and it is all relative. However, entheogens can help take me much, much deeper and prolong the experience.

It's a shame how propaganda prevents many from waking up to the wonders of this world.

People in less culturalized parts of this world, such as the amazon jungle, practice dream shamanism with the use of various plants that help to induce such states of lucidity. It's pretty safe to assume they experience much, much more lucidity then you ever had in your life. Judging by your ability to come to such fatuous assumptions, and project ignorant ideas onto my experience.

And drugs or not, people can OBE from them and apparently can share dreams. Nothing is really impossible once you get into a OBE, and drugs do produce them.

damn right. LSD and Shrooms are a sure fire method to getting to there places. monks practise the art of meditation for years to get to these altered states. and basically the drugs can take you straight there. the question that you have to ask is, our you ready? i wasnt.

i closed my eyes and a tunnel was there, with psychedelic colors were swirling on the walls. and at the end was a door. i drifted closer and closer. and every second i felt i was loosing my grip on reality. finally when i got really close and i felt like it was my last chance to open my eyes and come round before entering a place ive never been, i backed out.
Probably for the best to, youve got to be ready, practising helps that. drugs can go straight there. and i believe that can mess with you

Wow, it's been a while since seeing this thread. The experience I talked about in the OP still lives strong in both my and my brother's memory.
