      help with obe's

hello. I do not believe in OBE's yet. But I want to. So I have trying to OBE for many reasons. It's fun, its cool, its neat, its transcendental, it makes me happy, it makes me feel good, i can explore the universe, not to mention i will be invincible.
Unfortunately, I can't find a OBE guide. I remember fragments of an OBE guide but I don't know where the site is. And I would like more help. I've been trying to OBE but I fail.

OBE stands for Out of Body Experience. By definition, it's nothing more than having the impression that you are not confined by your physical body. You don't need to believe that you can exist outside of your body to have an OBE, but you need to believe that you can have such an experience. Otherwise you will succeed with your OBE attempts only sporadically at best.

All you need to do is believe it's possible, build up your desire to a sufficient degree (or even better, set your intention), then let it happen.

In practice this will likely go like this: you make some serious attempt to pull yourself out (or give yourself suggestions) until you get border or frustrated and fall asleep.

The fact is, if you do this after 3-6 hours of sleep for at least a hour every day, you will inevitably have an OBE. Over time the period between your attempt and the actual experience will shorten from 1-2 days to hours then minutes. Then you will realize the power of intention.

Here are the most important factors that will speed up your progress:
      - learning to suppress your frustration (because you understand the dynamics),
      - learning to intent instead of willing,
      - minimizing the time spent between actively attempting and falling asleep (essentially the period spent on thinking about unrelated things).

Again, you can use any kind of technique, because you will fail at direct induction at first.

With that being said, here are a couple ones to fuel your intention:

I'd say good luck if there was such thing.

Wow, that's a whole lot of techniques in one place. Thanks for the link.
