Friend calls me while sleeping...

So earlier this evening, at about 8:40ish, I'm sitting out in the front room watching a movie with my parents, when my phone vibrates. Travis is calling. So I walk into my room and shut the door, and answer it. Me: "Hey dude what's up?" Travis: "Heyyyy. Ben" Me: "Yeah...what's up?" Travis: "fkaogapgdgrumbleubmubmkblmel" Me: "Dude...?" Travis: "Do you know where my chapstick is? Slurpslurpslruprlsurpslurpslurp" And then he hung up. So I'm thinking, OK. I'll just call him back. I call him twice, and I get his voicemail both times. So I figure I'll just wait a while, and call him later. So 5 minutes after I go back into the living room, Travis calls again. So I walk into my room, and answer: Me: "Hey dude. Are you okay? What's going on?" Travis: "Hey, why did you call me twice?" Me: "Because you called me..." Travis: "No I didn't. I was sleeping." Me: "Dude I swear to god, you called me just 5 minutes ago." Travis: "Hold on I'm gonna put you on speakerphone." He checks his called list. Travis: "Oh cool. I did call you 5 minutes ago." Me: "You called me asking where your chapstick is. No lie dude haha." Travis: "Wow that is really interesting..."

Hm, it's not uncommon for people to sleepwalk and do complex tasks. There have been cases of people who actually drive (successfully) while sleepwalking.

Ya this is totally something that happens, not sure why or how to reproduce it though. Once when i was in gradeschool I went through an entire day, yes I slept through a 36 hour period. Only realized it because events were not what I remembered them being. When I approached a teacher as to why I was not in trouble, from my memory I should have been not doing homework or interrupted class or some jive. The only answer they gave me was I hadn't done anything wrong. The only answer I could give was I sleptwalked the whole day away. Back then I was a big sleep walker but this was by far the longest period of time. I have had whole conversations with family members " apparently I'm a very angry sleepwalker most the time for some reason ".
