      Connecting Lucid Dreams Together

Hey everyone. I haven't been on here for quite some time now. I have been a little distracted by waking reality but i'm trying to get focused again on LD-ing and i have to admit that i feel like a newbie again. My sleep patterns have been solid and over the last few weeks my dream recall in the morning has been getting better. Along with RC's all day i thought i would have had a good LD by now if even a little awakening...but no .
During a dream last week i did the nose/breathing/pluggig RC in a dream for the first time in a long time but it seemed that i was waking up even before i began the RC. It was a strange sensation since that (RC) would always clue me into a LD before, but this time it was as though my body was prepared for the RC and said "ohh no i see this coming...wake up..no..no..no, tsk tsk".
Do any of you have any guidance on this? Has this happened to you before? Again, this seems like a very remedial experience for me and i would love to break out of this dry spell.

On the topic of this post...I was wondering if anyone has thought of the potential of two people who are at the same -advanced- stages of LD-ing trying to summon or connect their LD's together into one plane and have an interaction there together.
I believe it is possible (purely on faith alone, there is no evidence, proof, reasoning behind this) that an interaction can occur and the statements made in that connected period can be backed up by both people the next day upon recall of the test questions and answers to them.
For example, my friend and i could map out each of our seperate patterns which showed each of our ideal conditions for having a full LD and then synch our sleeping times over the course of a few weeks.
By focusing intently on trying to find each others vibrations, or patterns or simply focusing them into a LD, i think that each of us would have the chance to state something to the other, nothing huge, but something simple yet abstract enough so that one could not rely on a guess as proof of the interaction.
I believe that both would have to be at the same level of dream control and devote a good preiod of time to focusing on this project.
Personally, i am trying to get back to my previous level of LD-ing and then run this idea and a lot more details by my friend to study this 'belief'.
Do any of you think this to be a possibility? Has anyone tried or is trying this?
A good spectrum of opinions would be nice to shed some light on this idea

Technically anything to do with lucid dreaming is "beyond dreaming"

      Not really.

Anyway, there are a shitload of threads on shared dreaming here. Paranormal stuff abound.

i started trying to LD voluntarily after being visted in a very vivid dream by my mum. We've since spoken and it turns out shes been LDing for many many years. So naturally i have a wonderful teacher. Were going to try and see if she can pull me through the WILD barrier. I can get to the brink by myself but i cant quite get through.

Sounds interesting, although I do not believe in Collective Dreaming I still think it sounds incredibly interesting and worth checking out.

What is it about connective dreaming that you do find possible or believe JShaffer?
I say connective instead of collective because i think that the term collective involves a large group as opposed to a one on one dream link.
Perhaps if enough people were involved and at the same level of awareness they may be able to form a collective dream.
It sounds somewhat similar to a group conscious except we would be aware of it while participating in it.
