Excuse me for asking, but what is the RTZ? |

Whenever I have a lucid dream using the WILD method why do I always end up in the RTZ? |

Excuse me for asking, but what is the RTZ? |

Oh, I get it |

I stumbled upon lucid dreaming through astral projection and OBE. However, I found astral projection rather tricky and after only ever having two OBE's after months of practicing I decided to focus more on lucid dreaming (thinking it would be easier if I'm being honest). The RTZ (real-time zone) is where I always find myself when I lucid dream. Maybe all the focus on astral projection is sticking with me when I go lucid, who knows? Maybe I'm astral projecting? I don't know, hence why I asked lol. |

well, from what you said about your dreams, they sound incredibly mundane? I've never really heard of the real time zone before, actually, I don't think i've ever had a dream where the scene is an exact replicate of the real deal. For you to have such an incredibly realistic dream world is really unfortunate. I can't imagine how difficult that would be! |

Lol These are just my lucid dreams/astral projection experiences, NOT my normal dreams. I haven't had that many of these lucid experiences and those I have had have been very short and I haven't had that much control over them (something I'm working on), but the experience in itself has been amazing. Yes, its been a total replicate of my waking world, what I classified as the RTZ (whether you believe in that is another matter) but to be able to walk through my bedroom wall and through my mirror, etc. and to tell myself to turn around and see my own body lying on the bed has been very satisfying and exciting and is far from "unfortunate" lol. |

Dreams form around what you have your attention focused on. Usually most people experience HI as they fall asleep and the dream forms around the last image you saw in your HI. |

No, I can't remember any HI. I normally hear loads of weird, loud noises (or what appear to sound loud) and then a split second of blackness or nothing (it's hard to explain) and then I'm lucid. |

Actually, hearing stuff is still the hypnagogic stage, but the auditory ones don't have the influence the visual one have. |
