CC recently posted a link for that new movie, "Paranormal Activity". This got me thinking about some things I experienced a while back. I recently lived in a very old, large house on the north side of town. During this time I was very paranoid of death, and of things watching me. I would usually see some things that would scare me half to death, and force me to lay at night, popping my eye open every few seconds to make sure nothing was there. I am 50/50 on whether it was my imagination playing tricks on me, or whether there really was a presence in my house, other than that of my family. What I would see, was this vague silhouette of a humanly figure in various corners of the house, and one night I awoke to a strange cloud of some sort in the corner of my room. The cloud was rather pearly, and solid looking. I tried moving my eyes to something else, to see if it was my eyes playing this trick on me, but the cloud remained where it was. After a few weeks of these strange happenings, I had a very vivid dream, that I awoke, went down to the basement, and there was the ghost of a girl there. I was not scared, I approached her, and she didn't say anything. She remained silent, and started whispering unintelligible things, when I awoke in a sweat. My cat portrayed a very strange behaviour, she was usually jumpy, more serious, and not as playful as she was in the house I lived in previous to this one. Do you think that this was actual paranormal activity? Or simply, out of fear, my mind was creating things that were not actually there?
