      Think about this....

      What if, there was a.... one might call it a demention.... In this 'place', dreams would happen. Your brain, or anyone's brain I should say, could add on or change or take away parts, but for whatever reason, not the whole thing. Anyway, this is a good way to explain it:

      Imagine the brain as a laptop playing a game with wi-fi
      Instead of using a router, (shut up all you computer nerds, I know it's not possible but that's not the point) the signal would go to a tower, as a cell phone's reception would.
      This game is the dream 'place'
      Now, when you're sleeping your 'laptop' automatically sends a signal to the 'tower' accesing the 'game', and starts playing this 'game' by itself. Because it's normally your subconscious, hmmm, maybe we could call it your 'hard-drive'..... now, because it's your 'hard-drive' playing unless you're lucid or 'programing', you are not in control. Now let's say that, this is a 'multiplayer' 'game', so everyone who is sleeping is 'playing'. Now, once you are lucid, you are then in control of your player, and, let's say.... have a 'cheating device'. You can now manipulate the 'game' as well as other 'players' including giving them 'cheating devices' to the 'game'.

      Does this not explain the concept of Shared Dreaming?? I could go on forever, but I think I'll just answer questions from here on.

      Yes. Good analogy.

      I'm skeptic of these shared dreamings but i got a question anyway.

      What is the difference between waking life, and shared dreaming? waking life aren't you sharing the same vision with everyone else? instead of sleeping and your thoughts making the pictures, you're awake and we all see the same picture. Seems everyone is sharing a connection with everyone else or we would all see different things. If shared dreaming was not real, how can i share real life with everyone else?

      Did I say that shared dreaming was not real?? Anyway, waking hours and shared dreaming are two very different things. In waking hours, you can't control anything, in a dream, you can. Plus, dreams happen when you're asleep . Don't say "What if dreams are real life and real life is actually a dream??" because then your just reverse my words.

      [edit:] ok, I read wrong. I guess there is a similarity between the two, but this does not mean that they are the same. Aren't tvs and computer moniters similair?? The moniter, however, rquires a connection to the computer tower. A tv requires nothing (you'll still see static)
      Say that the Moniter is Shared dreaming and the tv is waking hours:
      The moniter requires a special connection, but the tv requires nothng!! Whilst the two are similair in which they both show you a (possibly) moving picture, they are two completely different devices!!

      {Man, I am just killing it with the analogies lately}
