Last night a had a series of very interesting experiences including sleep paralysis and lucid dreams. In one moment while lying paralyzed in my bed and seeing the room around me, I hear these buzzing noises in and around my head and some weird kind of music. My material body seems heavy and I feel like I'm trapped in it. So now I'm in some half-asleep / half-awake state but fully lucid and trying to fall asleep. In one moment I feel like my non-material body is trying to get out of the material one. I feel my right arm moving in the air but I can see that my material body is lying still. Then I see these sparks in the air and slowly, a shape appears. It looks like a see-through arm, but in the place where the arm should me the air looks just like hot air moving (something like fata-morgana). I'm not really sure how to explain this. But anyway, it was really fun and I played around with my astral arm for a while. Then I decided to lie still and fall asleep. A weird thing happened - like some force lifted me up a couple of inches above my bed and started spinning me in circles very very fast. The buzzing was here again. I wasn't scared this time either, I actually enjoyed the feeling and then I entered a very vivid WILD. Anyone had similar experiences? |

I did have another OBE experience before this one, when I actually felt like I was leaving my body and then bouncing arond my room, feeling very light as if I were walking on the bottom of the ocean. Then i managed to float through my room window and fly around a bit in the garden behind my house, but some kind of jelly-textured invisible wall stopped me from going further so I had to return to my material body. The whole experinece was pretty scary and preceeded by a series of hallucinations, buzzing noises and that sppining-in-the-air feeling. When I woke up I also heard some buzzing and had this feeling like my whole body went numb. This is the only time I managed to move during AP. I'm just wondering about the part where I see my astral arm - is i real or a dream? It seemed and feeled very very real so now I'm confused. |

It is real, and it is a dream, an astral dream. The astral plane is a little different from the dream plane. It's between the dream and physical planes. That's really cool that you saw your astral body, Epona. All this talk of AP makes me want to practice it more! |

Thanks for the info |

You're welcome. I have a few in my DJ. I find lucid dreaming much much easier, though. |
