But with this, it is for self-improvement and what-not, so does it honestly matter if it is placebo or not??

Been lucid two nights in a row now

Granted, they were both at the tail end of dreams and I haven't exerted a lot of control yet... baby steps. I've never been lucid two nights in a row before, though

It might be a result of the subliminals, might not. Who knows?? But even if it is just placebo, who cares?? It still helped‼

      I definitely don't care if it's a placebo

But still... I didn't have a lucid for 2 weeks, now I've had 2 in a row... might be onto something here.

Anyways, I don't mind being a guinea pig for the effects of subliminal messaging

As it is, it can supplement while I'm building my life-long technique.

I don't get why people keep differentiating between subliminal and placebo.

Their the SAME thing. It all comes down to the power of belief. Placebo is believing, subliminal is believing without KNOWING your believing.

But back to the OP, i ran it for like 30 minutes the first day, and that night i didn't gget any effect. How long before it started working for you guys?

I think you might be a bit confused. You're on the right track about what subliminal messaging is, but starting to waver the wrong way
Subliminals are picked up by your subconscious, making it happen without you thinking consciously about it. It's different, you have the right idea, just the wrong.... Comprehension of the concept information.

Anyway, I run it a lot. Like most psychiological things, it differs. I recommend two 15-30 minute sessions a day. But the more, the better
I also recommend using audio subliminals at the same time. Imma post some here once I make them.

I gotta say, for the most part, I've learned to totally ignore the flashing messages. I just go about my business, and don't even think of them...or so I think.

So far it's a 2/3 success rate for me (meaning Day 1 - yes, Day 2 - yes, Day 3 - no)... worked immediately, in other words.

I do agree though, there's a certain amount of belief involved here. I told my friend I think it should work because of the subconscious link to dreaming and the subliminals permeating my subconscious.

Yesterday's dream almost can't be counted, due to the fact that I was so freaking tired that my DC's didn't even interact with me. I was a passive observer; standing there, invisible. I don't get dreams like those unless I'm super effing tired (which I was, I pulled a night shift and had been awake 20 hours by the time I fell asleep. I actually thought I was going to have a successful MILD because my visualizing wouldn't be able to keep me awake! Alas, I was wrong )

I had a dream about lucid dreaming, which is an excellent step in the right direction. I'm thinking about it, at least, and that's half the battle! Fingers crossed for lucid in the not-too-distant future.

      Question

Hey, thanks for the very helpful affirmations! I have one problem though, I can't get Logarithmic Spirals to run, I install it and I checked the box that says run after installation is done and it didn't run. I searched for the program on my computer, clicked on it and it didn't run. I'm using Windows 7 btw

Ooh, it might not work on Windows 7.... I've been trying to find a different program that does the same thing, so I'll get back to you on that.

I used your lucid 2.1 and got nothing but non-lucid nightmares. I don't think I'll be using it again.

The subconscious IS your belief system. Subliminal messages make you believe something unconsciously. And no you don't just read subliminal images and it just "happens".

Subliminal messages work the same way as affirmations. It's all power of belief. Except you don't know that your unconsciously believing something, thus it's "subliminal".

Same thing with placebo, give a person a sugar pill and they "subconsciously" believe it will heal them without questioning it with the conscious/logical mind.

I seriously doubt it was a result of Lucid 2.1, as I put nothing that should cause that in it. I mostly just repeated all the stuff in 2.0 with different wording.

      And HW, whatever

Wow! I have like 4 subliminal software running all at once and it is incredible, I don't know if I should add more or what but this should do it

Oh and does anyone happen to have any affirmations for Astral Projection, I mean I could make them though but if anyone has some it would be helpful, thanks!

Jesus of Suburbia, I think your subliminal messages are starting to work.

I've been running them all day for like 2 days now, and last night I think i became semi-lucid. I was in the dream, and I was spinning out of control. It was crazy, i was spinning very very fast uncontrollably, I believe I was waking up out of the dream. I tried to consciously stop spinning so wildly but I failed. I just didn't realize that I was dreaming. But I realized the spnning.

I think I'm headed in the right direction.

      Subconscious mind-programming ftw

I was watching some log spirals last night...

My boyfriend and my dad were like, "What the hell are you looking at?!!" "Brainwashing," I told them

My boyfriend knows that means it's lucid dreaming-related, at least.

I always just say subliminal messaging. My grandfather knew right away, though.
