Talking with friends in dreams

Last night I had a very vived lucid dream. I talked to my good friend, Marie(she is not into LDing at all), and said that this was a dream. When I went to school the next day, she told me she described this to me. We had a conjoined er combined or what ever. How is this even possible?

Are you saying she described your dream to you? If so then its possible you had a shared dream, although that can be very debatable.

We had the same dream. I was talking to her in my dream. She was talking to me in her dream.

The thing is, our brains are pretty damn senstive, to electristy then. I say this because our brain works on eletristity. But sharks have this sense, so its not imporrible

Ive heard that when you think about somebody before they go to sleep they will dream about you or something like that. Did you think about your friend during sometime before she went to bed?

dream Sharing is possible! but maybe NOT possible, as no one has the proof to back this up. Apart from personal experience. I had Lucid_Guy.exe describe a dream to me before I had told him anything about it. And Raven Knight managed to describe details about dreams to me on two occasions. If you both had the same conversation, I think its possible something happened there.

Just a quick question about Shared dreaming, Let's say you did have a shared dream with a DV member here on the forums, and let's say your fighting zombies, trying to survive. And Let's say he/she wakes up. Would he/she Dissaper or would a DC take over? the person body. P.S Itachi I am a huge NARTUO fan... I would like to FIGHT NARUTO myself

I've only had a few shared dreams, and usually I wake up first. But I hear that the dreamer just disappears from the dream. I suppose technically, if that dreamer disappeared without you knowing, you might subconsciously create a DC of them.

Just as extra info, that you got personal proof for shared dreaming should not interfere with your beliefs in other things, so yeah, I wouldn't start believing more in magical stuff just because of a SD.

I completely agree, I usually demand full scientific explanations before I believe things, but I've experienced SDs and they work. Doesn't mean I believe in ghosties and evil people from different realms destorying my aura. I think all the BD theories that go with shared dreaming are just people trying to make sense of what is occurring. Those who support BD theories are far more open to trying to share a dream, therefore they are largely associated with shared dreams.

And it was the EXACT same as your dream? Location, words, actions, etc? Can I just note its highly unlikely both dreamers will remember exact actions. Despite the fact in the dream state, memory can sometimes be off (and recall) even IRL most people won't remember exact actions of someone, especially if it happened over 24 hours a go. The main things I'd look out for are the conversation, the location, and objects in the dream.

ahhh! but that one thread i forgot whats it is called, They dream shared and fought some other dreamers who called themselfs "DreamStalkers", so i guess if your advance enough, you can force your way through. It's the power of the mind at work!
