      Day one Meditation

      Day one of meditating;
      So I was super thrilled with the amount of depth I went on my first day. I set my alarm clock for 25 min. and was suprised when it went off. I felt my body go numb or maybe it was just my astral body leaving or something. Anyway I loved it and hope I have just as much success next time. I focused on my breathing just like BigFan and was amazed at what NOT THINKING can do! I did see visualizations, is this normal? and when does it cross over to being repetitive unwanted thoughts/visualizations (sounds easier then looks)

      It's pretty interesting to be focusing on your breathing and should get easier as the days progress. I can't recall if I saw some visualizations, will have to check my journal for that. The idea is to just clear the mind of all thoughts using whatever method works for you. In my meditation, I was sitting in the lotus position since I would fall asleep if I was lying down but it sounds like you did well Did you try this when you were tired, because, the visualization could be the start of some low level HI. Essentially, meditation is supposed to help you lower your brainwaves and those who are experienced can even go into the dream brainwaves, I think it's delta in this case
