That post about eye movement was on this site. It was in the general lucid board somewhere. I do also use the spinning technique, or at least did. The eye movement seems to work better I noticed since I can open my eyes and have the dream look the same. I noticed with spinning on occasion I wind up in a different place after

Hiya Stormr -cool dream! congrats! - I've had a similar experience - moving the eyes to and fro has helped me stabilize the dream - I've read it mimicks REM sleep movements which maybe why the dream continues. When people spin in real life as well the eyes end up doing a jerky to and fro movement and I've wondered if this as much as the kinetic movement in the dream helps to stabilise it. I tried it out a few lucids ago - spun round and just as in real life (even more so) I could feel my eyes going side to side.
just the other day I noticed someone mentioned moving the eyes rapidly in a dream to help prevent waking up.
Do you remember where you saw this? I'd like to follow it up some more - cheers - T

But it was an awesome experience having full control, and actually thinking and making decisions this time.
      Yes, it is awesome.

I even tested out a theory I had that used to be a fear of mine. And that was wondering if my sleeping body is mimicing any of my dreaming bodies actions.
Hate to break it to you but your fear is real; just might not be real for you--and maybe just not real on this occasion.

REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD) occurs when sleep paralysis is incomplete or absent. Look it up ^.^
