From what I can gather, this is a pretty common dream for people to have when they have had more than one boyfriend/girlfriend/partner. (That being the dream that you go back to your old lover and abandon your current one.) It could mean any number of things, perhaps that you still have feelings for this person, although you might not want to admit it. Or perhaps you are scared of the idea of being in a relationship with them again and your brain is practicing what might happen if it were to happen.

Just don't let it make you feel like your a bad person for dreaming that you cheated on your current relationship. Everybody has these dreams.

Around here we hold to the idea that the best person to interpret a dream is the person who has that dream, because I don't know anything about you, Terry, Frankie or anyone else in this, and I couldn't say for sure why you dreamed this.
