I passed out again. I've started to wake up naturally at around 5AM - 5:30AM. So when I get up I'm more awake, but not enough it seems.

@iFatal I done the same thing last night actually. Semi-success! Although I wouldn't call them WILDs. There are nights when I sleep, and randomly find myself in my room (which isn't a false awakening because I don't wake up) semi-lucid.

If you guys wanna check to out I've added it to my DJ. I didn't do much though, I just felt like observing. Although I remembered my goals and was gonna fly up and drop, but chicked out because I don't like the thought of hitting the ground. In time though when I get more confident!

Mantras really help me but I don't do enough of them. I use visualisation to get to sleep and I can't do both at them same time because they ruin eachother.

I started to do mantras again for Deild and it worked, I woke up exactly at 3 o'clock (which was my goal) and tonight I'm gonna try to wake up after my dreams. Also I had some very vivid dreams last night.

busy day, took some time to get on.

Katsuno precognative dreams are pretty cool if they are real, a long time ago i read of a town where multiple people had dreams of something looming over the town, it was black and was thick especially around the children. later on the coal mine collapsed on the school while it was in session.

and i need to get back into auto suggestion, when i first tried it out the first night i could wake up unmoving and do a FILD/DEILD effortlessly, then the mantras bored me so i havent been to enthusiastic about it.

and lastly i thought i posted this here but i guess not, in a previous wild attempt i let my thoughts wander to much, the thought formed and grew, and eventually became an actuall dream. the thing is i wasnt in sp. i could feel my legs irl, but was ignoring them completely. eventually i turned my attention to it and remembered i was in a wild attempt, immediantly the tingling sensation and the pulse feeling came in, and this time i actually saw purple floating orbs, but then my focus snapped in and it ended.

iFaTal, good idea for the different lucid things, they could make good tasks of the week. this is perfect for shared dreaming (if its real) since its a group of people who are learning to be lucid whenever they want and can plan the time. and it would be awesome to get my dc's to do all the work for me to get me lucid.

I had a simi success full WILD attempt today. I fell a sleep but I had a very vivid dream afterwards. I found my rem period which is 5:30 AM

This is after a failed WILD attempt.

I was in a dream and in that dream I felt like I had been to the exact dream before.

The dream was basically a secret passage into an area where I think I (And my friends.) had to blow up. (I say this because my friend had some sort of bomb.)

The passage consisted of multiple tunnels that we had to crawl through. There was also a guy at the beginning that threatened to do something to me if I didn't show him how to get in the secret passage way.

Because I had a dream like this before, (I think) I new how to get through the tunnels. There were also dead ends everywhere and the passage ways were kind of like a maze.

Yeah it does. I feel like I have an expectation from the group to work hard, so I actually get up and try. For awhile I was just writing my dreams down and getting random DILDs but I've been getting them more regularly so I want to take my lucid dreaming up a level!

I wish I could just get up and be so motivated that I wouldn't need to stay up. It's awesome how you could do that! Maybe you'll pick that skill up again, it really would be helpful

Well I haven't done a real WBTB for a long time but when I do (mostly on weekends) I just go to the bathroom and back into the bed. The key that kept me awake all these times wasn't to get my mind awake through staying awake but having the right motivation. I did a mantra before going to bed to wake up after 6 hours of sleep (Yeah it works without alarm if you are motivated enough ) and when I woke up every time mind was totally awake because I was so motivated. Sadly I can't get this attitude anymore and I'm too lazy to even stand up
But I think this group here helps to get motivated again

I think that's a good idea too. Once we're good at WILDing we may aswell do something with it together!

Last night I passed out again. I took time to wake myself up more but nope, still fell asleep. I find my WBTB's really boring and so I don't stay up very long, plus I don't want to lose too much sleep because of school. When I MILD I usually get up for 5 minutes but for WILDing I need longer. Problem is, I want to keep my mind on lucid dreaming to make the WBTB efficient if the WILD fails so I don't really do anything except RC. Maybe I should read with lucid dreaming in the back of my mind. Although the book I'm reading is keeping me up at night

What do you guys do during your WBTB's? I get so bored and then just go back to bed too early.

I'm also going to look over the WILD tutorials so I can refresh everything. Maybe I'm forgetting something.

iFatal thats a great idea! I've been thinking of doing such things in my next Wild, too. For example generating any kind of emotion just by pure will and such experimental things.
Anyways I had a very strange experience today. I dreamed of my English teacher (no, no sexual dream or something ) and I saw her being very ill. Today in school when we got to our english classroom another teacher told us that she is at home because she is ill. I mean that could be a coincidence but WTF?!?! O.o
Taking a Nap now for about 3 hours (haven't had much sleep last night) and trying a Wild.

Took a nap but only got to a sp like feeling (wasn't sp at all) and passed out I think.

I had a fail at wilding today. I can't even remember if I tried to WILD. I'm pretty sure I did try to WILD but I passed out in the process .

      @Posts Above:

Yeah I have also heard that WILDS cause more vivid, longer lucid dreams. I also like them because you don't need to really do reality checks every day and you can basically have a lucid dream everyday if you master WILDING.

      Other Stuff:

Once our group can have multiple WILDS without any effort, we should all put together a WILD tutorial or something or then turn our group into a lucid dream studies group.

Meaning, we go into a lucid dream and test out the different things we can do for example:

      1. Prolonging a dream
      2. Shared Dreaming
      3. Programing lucidity (Like saying to an DC every time you become lucid to tell you that you are dreaming.)

      And stuff like that.

      What do you guys think?

I've also heard that WILDs produce much better dreams. Makes sense, you're in a longer REM period and know exactly what's going on.

Katsuno, you'll get it again soon I'm sure You're probably just going through a dry spell of WILDing and before you know it you'll have the hang of it again

Yeah wild are a totally different experience (at least for me). I had many dilds and I can only say that wild is much better. The Lucid Dreams last much longer, I have more control and everything looks much clearer. Also when I Wild my mind is clear and I can focus on my dream goals.
Well but lately Wilding seems impossible for me

yea every time i get close someone else or myself ruins it. but luckily for the past few tims, long wild attempt+giving up=lucid dream. however i hear wilds are a different experience so i always give it a good go before i give up on it.

      Thanks iFatal

@siuol I hate it when they drag on. Sometimes you feel you're getting close but then (what happens to me anyway) it just kinda fades away -_-

Most of the times when I feel I'm getting sucked into a dream, with loads of hallucinations and everything, I usually muck it up. I get really excited and my heart starts beating really fast and then I lose it. Or I have a mind-blank and forget to visualise a scene etc.

Last night wasn't so good either. I got up this time, stretched a bit but not for too long because my room's creepy in the dark. Then I lay down and consciously relaxed everything but again I passed out. I need to either sleep more beforehand or stay up longer. So I think I'll change it from 5 hours to 5.5 hours and see if it helps.

My recall also seems to be going a bit downhill. But I'm sure I'll get it back soon.

i wrote a long response, and when i finished my cat stepped on my keyboard deleting it. basiclly i got up and got a good balance between awake and asleep, and my mom came in 2ce at 6 to wake me up for school (its vacation) and to feed the cats (my brothers job), and every time she leaves my cat meows for over 15 minutes unless you get out of bed and chase it for a while. needless to say after this my wild attempt dragged on and i couldnt fall asleep. eventually i just quit and had a good lucid.

@ raspberry if you go to... dream journal > DJ settings > Manage subscriptions, it will show all you your DJ subscriptions. I asked the staff and they said that DJ subscriptions don't shop up in the control panal.

I'm going to try to wild again tonight I have a school tomorrow so we will see how that goes

      I'll post results tomorrow.

Ive heard alot of things about what to do when you get to that point. Now I'm not speaking
from experience, but what I've heard is that you start visualizing a dream at this point or
think of yourself falling through the bed etc... There may have been something about imagining
you dream body separating and floating up. I also read something about focusing on the pineal
gland in your brain ( located near your forehead ) and sort of thinking about stimulating it as it
releases some hormone that plays a key part in dreaming. That actually seemed to get me closer
      a few times.

complete and utter failure describes my attempt today. oh and idk if i got into sp a while back but i was relaxed and still listening to either isochronic tones or binaural beats, forgot which, and it felt like i got sucked into myself and i felt a wierd tingling vibration in my lower stomach, that got pretty intense, i thought i was going to wild but i ended up just sitting in that state untill i gave up.
