Good luck and yes keep trying. I was the same way but for some reason thinking about wanting to recall my dreams really helps me recall them. I'm getting better You will too.

Not wanting to disappoint you, because I really don't know - it might have been lucid and you not remembering - but if you do remember the dream well but you can't say if you were lucid, it seems to me that you weren't. It's usually pretty clear. But you did incubate a dream sucessfully!
