Allegory

So as you know I was attempting to induce a lucid dream and I tried 2 different sleeping positions for about 20-30 minutes with no good results so I decided to call it quits on that and go to sleep upon which event I guess I wasn't ready to stop trying so I just watched the images and tried to bring each into focus until I found one of a whiteboard and I guess it reminded me of art class so I imagined it as such and sure enough I was in art class sitting next to Jake, Austin, and Kasey. They talked among themselves as I sat and eventually got up and went to my regular seat when Kevin, attempting to make an impossible triangle out of paper, come over and threw it on my desk in front of me. I picked the scraps up and they looked like an 'A' so I folded them over and began rubbing it between my fingers and much to my surprise I could actually feel the paper in my dream hands. Seconds later my entire body erupted in a tingling vibrating feeling and I could hear a low buzzing and an insanely real voice of Jamie, from art class, saying something that I couldn't hear over the buzzing. This must have only lasted for a few seconds and when it stopped I could only see black and although I was aware of my physical body and the position it was in, I had no real connection with it such that I couldn't feel my appendages touching one another. I gave up hope as I tried to bring a dreamscape in front of me and opened my eyes cautiously as I performed a reality check and and, unfortunately, returned to reality. So close!!
