non-lucid

I dreamed that I joined the military and was deployed somewhere without basic training. I remember the place we were in looked weirdly familiar to a farm near my house, except the sky was red-orange. I also remember that the military guys weren't wearing normal military clothes. They were wearing utility vests, skater shorts (you know, those shorts that go halfway down your calf), and sandals. Also, all of their clothes were beige.

A side note here, this is my second time in a week specifically remembering the color beige in a dream.

I remember, at some point, walking into a bathroom where we were, except it wasn't a normal bathroom. It was very dark in there, the floors were black and white checkered, and instead of a normal bathroom, it was more like a long hallway that went as far as I could see (which wasn't very far because it was dark and the hall just faded into black), with metallic urinals all along one wall.

I went to pee, and all of a sudden like 5 military guys burst into the bathroom, making a lot of noise. I remember not being able to pee (shy bladder), and eventually just leaving. I went out and remember one of the military guy talking to another one about eventually over-throwing the country we were in.

At this point I woke up and went back to sleep.

All I remember about this dream is trying to bend a horseshoe with Leonardo da Vinci.

And then I woke up. I wonder if I would have better dream recall if I wrote down my dreams before rolling over and going back to sleep.

Again, I only remember these two bits. Not sure why my dream recall is so bad the past couple of days.

All I remember is something about a ball that leaves fingerprints on it when you touch it, and then using it to bowl.

I also remember having a cold and, for some reason, it causing me to cough up blood.

I remember being in an accounting class wit ha bunch of people from middle school, and the old, white-haired janitor from my college was subbing.

Bit of a time skip, and I remember having to use a very crowded girls' bathroom (that had urinals in it for some reason?).

I also remember something about a flag being on fire. I think it was a NASCAR flag.

Then I woke up

(originally from 10/28/11)Dreamed this while taking a nap.

I was walking out in the woods with someone who was a friend of Brody's mom (I've never met her before, I assume she's not real) and there are these three guy sitting there. We walk by them and they start following us, saying generic mugger things like "Hey, man, I like that coat." I was getting ready to say something to the extent of "Well, if you want it, you'll have to take it from me the hard way."

At this point, I woke up and was in kind of in limbo for a few minutes (relieved that it was only a dream), quickly fell back asleep and apparently continued the same dream.

I don't remember what happened but the woman that was with me was apparently traumatized about it. So I'm told to go to her house and talk to her about it. I don't exactly remember what was said, but that she felt better afterwards.

Apparently there was some kind of parade going on on the highway by my house. So Brody and I were sent to go pick up some things from my grandmother's house, except the dirt road to it suddenly seemed much longer. When we were going there, we saw these two UFOs darting all over the sky. I tried to turn around and Brody tried to record them on his phone, but to not much avail.

Just for reference's sake, I remember telling him to pay attention when I was seeing the UFOs because he kept getting distracted by these funny pictures on his phone.

And then I woke up.

(originally from 10/28/11)Last night I kept waking up (maybe because I was sleeping on the floor).

Driving down a dark road with Brody beside me, us talking about how dumb it would be to see someone walking beside the road, like in some kind of horror movie. We round a corner and see what looks like someone draped in rags walking beside the road.

There were a few dreams in between these two, but I can’t recall them.

I was out at the place that I work, and Brody was there talking to me as I mopped, except that he was my boss. I remember looking around and seeing a lot of circus-themed candy, along with a lot of candy I’ve never seen before.

All of a sudden I hear someone talking about the world’s heaviest rhino. I look over and there’s a smaller rhino and a bigger one, with black hair down its back. The announcer was going on about how he (the rhino) is the smaller one there, but was heavier than all of the rest.

I sort of blink to having a bird’s eye view, and see myself along with a crowd of people that I didn’t notice before surrounding the rhinos. All of a sudden everyone starts screaming and running away.

And then I woke up.

Keep in mind, this whole thing was all still inside of the store, which seemed to have suddenly gotten big enough to hold two rhinos and a crowd of people with plenty of room to spare. I sort of vaguely recall the beginning of this dream, but not enough to describe it. I more recall the feelings than the actual dream.

I was sitting in the passenger’s seat to a jeep, and there was someone I didn’t know driving. We were driving through the jungle extremely fast, pulling someone behind us with a chain and a tire (like an intertube behind a boat). I think we were being chased by something. The driver frantically said “I hope the chain doesn’t break now.”

And then I woke up.

I had a dream about Cody, P, and Elizabeth. It’s weird because I rarely talk to these people.

All 4 of us were at Cody’s house, which had a red carpet with a white rug, and he had a poster of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon on the wall. I remember Elizabeth freaking out about the rug in the room. I vaguely remember us all sitting around and chatting.

Flash forward to P kneeling on the edge of a roof of a building (or was it in a tree limb?) and talking to me.

Flash forward to Brody and I running down this curvy wooden bridge. I mentioned that it felt like I was in a Sonic the Hedgehog game when I ran down it, and Brody saying “That sounds like something I would say.”

All I remember are these bits and pieces, since I had this dream a few days ago.
