      lucid (MILD), non-lucid, fragment

I am throwing boomerangs with a few other people in a large open area with a treeline off in the distance and grassy rolling hills. The words 'lucid dreaming' are rolling through my thoughts, and I begin to hear them in the dream as if they were distant thunder. I become lucid and realize that it is due to my mantra as I was falling asleep that I became lucid. The boomerang I have is a bright yellow, and as I throw it and it comes back to me, it turns into a triangle shape. I decide to make it into a frisbee. I press against the side of it with my thumb, and it splits into multiple brightly colored triangles. I realize that this will not work, so I give it a good snap with my wrist, hear a loud crack, and it becomes a regular frisbee. I throw it, and it flies up, circles around me, and lands back in my hands. The remainder of the dream is me throwing the frisbee and flying after it.

I remember more dream fragments that also seem very vivid, and possibly lucid, but I am unsure if they are parts of the same dream. It's a great feeling to finally be lucid again.

      Non-lucid, brief lucidity

I am at a bar with a friend of mine waiting for a band to play. They are scheduled to begin at 4:00pm, and it is now 6:00pm. I look at the table, and see it's glassy, bubbly surface, and a sudden thought strikes me: "I'm only 17....what am I doing in a bar?" and I become lucid. The background fades to black, and I am looking at the table and my hands on it as if through a filmy plastic. I attempt to stabilize the dream by focusing on my hands, and feeling the surface of the table, as well as reinforcing the fact in my mind that I am lucid dreaming. This meets with no success. I allow lucidity to slip away after getting frustrated. My friend and I wait longer, until at 8:00, with still no band, we decide to leave. On our way out the door, we run into another friend of mine, and decide to go get some supper. We are driving around the city choosing where to go when the dream ends.
I believe it is the ADA technique that I have been trying lately that brought on this lucid dream. At the moment of lucidity it was more like a daydream than a lucid dream - I was just as aware of my sleeping body as I was of my dream body. This would have been a good moment to try yelling 'Clarity now!', or something similar in order to bring myself more fully into the dream.
