      Non-lucid, fragment, disturbing

I am at my home, in the yard outside. It is mid-afternoon, and the sun is shining. My parents are on their way home, and I am supposed to get as many 'points' as possible. I gain points by shooting things with a small pistol-like object. There are a few birds worth 250 points each, and three cats which are worth 200, 300, and 500 points. Being a cat lover, I am reluctant to do this. My parents arrive home, and I hide in the trees, because I have not gained any points yet. I lay down in the grass as they step out of the van to look for me. Two of the cats walk up to me, and I target them for a total of 500 points. My parents hear the sound and come looking for me. I try to hide deeper.

This is a very strange dream. I am generally not prone to nightmares or anything disturbing like this, but I have been sick lately, and perhaps that or the medicine I'm taking has altered my normal dreams slightly.

      Non-lucid, WBTB

*I am listening to an isochronic tone designed for WBTB - it has 20 minutes of silence to allow you to fall asleep before coming in with the tone.

I am inside my home, sitting at my computer. My cousin arrives for a visit in his truck (as he will actually be doing today) and I go outside to meet him. |From here the dream skips from afternoon to nighttime, or I am unable to recall the gap between them.| I go out for a walk with my cousin's horse, which is a pale white with large blue spots on it. We head out to the highway, and I believe this is where the iso tone I am listening to kicks in. The highway actually is my bed, and the pavement is my mattress. Despite this obvious hint that I am dreaming, I don't become lucid. The horse falls off to the side, lands on a second mattress, and shrinks to a minuscule size. Passersby are laughing at the fact that I am walking such a tiny animal. As it climbs back up, it grows even larger than before, and the ones who were laughing lose their arrogance and walk on by.
It is at this point the dream becomes more of a nightmare.
The horse is shot from somewhere, and I dive behind it for cover. I hear laughing from a hidden spot in the trees, and I am told I don't have to worry about being shot. I believe them, and get up and walk back home. When I arrive there, I go to my room and begin sorting out a pile of screws and nails I have in my closet. I then remember there were some in my bookshelf as well, and go check that pile. I see a spiderweb attached to this pile, and recoil. I look a bit closer, and realize that it is just a tiny spider, smaller than the eraser of a pencil. Then my eyes focus slightly behind it, and see one the size of my two fists put together. It shifts, and I run out of my bedroom. I poke my head around my bedroom door just in time to see it roll out of it's nest and drop to the floor with a sickening thud. Again, I withdraw in fear, this time informing my family of the situation. They assure me that we have no spiders that large, and I assure them that despite that, I saw one. I go back to confirm that it is there, and I peek my head around the corner again to see it leap from my bed to catch a fly and sit on the floor boastfully devouring it's victim. Later, I am sitting at the supper table with my family recounting the tale of the monstrous arachnid, and they are laughing at my fear, still not aware that I saw a spider like this.
The dream ends as I wake up.
What makes this dream interesting is that I think I can point to the moment where the isochronic tone kicked in, which would be when the highway was made out of my mattress. This was a huge hint towards the fact that I was dreaming, but I didn't quite pick up on it.
