    1. Don't get lazy

      by , 11-14-2012 at 01:29 PM
Did some reading and need to remember to be confident with intention when flying or doing the rainbow check. Also try putting my finger through my other hand.

Last night dreamt I was in a place where in one place it was one timezone but just down the road it was a moderate amount of time (1 hr?) ahead or behind. I tried to call this out to others but they didn't find it as interesting as me. I should have known or asked if I was dreaming and done an RC right away!!

      Don't get lazy.

RC, then see if I can recall how I came to get there and what has just happened.

I am in control of the dream. Be COMPLETELY aware that I am lucid. Stabilise. Be aware. Stabilise. Be aware.

    2. Did it again & tried to fly

      by , 11-11-2012 at 11:42 AM
I should have recorded this when it first happened a few nights ago. I became lucid during a dream, looked at my hands to check & knew I was dreaming.

I then tried to fly & while I began to elevate, I felt myself toppling a bit to one side and struggled and woke up.

Next time, stick to the rainbow from the hand trick to start!

Also, when I noticed my hands I should have done a quick reality check to try to remember what had happened in the past hour and where I was.

    3. I woke up! Thanks to my hands...

I woke up! Thanks to my hands...

In my dream I was in a (my) bedroom and thought to ask myself if I was dreaming. I'd actually done this just before sleeping....

Since my last DJ, I read a suggestion to try looking at my hands and wow i did and wow they looked strange! ....so then I knew it was a dream!

Straight away, I summoned my boyfriend to be there and he was but then I must have forgotten that it was a dream and succumbed to my usual 'shadows'....

Need to cross check with a more general reality check - I think there was a tv in the room....

    4. How to know you're lucid dreaming out in nature?

      by , 10-29-2012 at 12:38 PM
This time I was out in a big valley with a few people, they were friends but acting hostile.

When I found myself running and the repeating thing of feeling like running through molasses occurred. I asked myself 'am I dreaming?'

I looked up to find anything that would tell me that I am e.g., some writing or a clock but being in the outdoors with no urban signs around there were none.

Instead, upon looking around I decided this scene felt & looked so (beautifully) real that I couldn't have been dreaming.

My bladder (or alarm?) woke me up. Upon returning to sleep, I think I returned briefly to the dream but didn't recognise it so never stopped to check if I was dreaming again.

How do I check if I'm dreaming when in the great outdoors??

    5. I asked the question, but....

      by , 10-15-2012 at 02:06 PM
So last night air found myself behind the wheel of a vehicle but only with no wheel, I was on the LHS with possibly a passenger or more near me.

I must have found something peculiar (maybe where I was sitting) so I FINALLY asked myself "am I dreaming?"

I took a quick look around and decided that I wasn't. I was happy when I woke up and shortly after remembered asking myself that question yet now recalled that it was indeed a dream!

Next time though: continue to look around and validate if it really is a dream, look for text or clocks and test them, don't get too excited if the answer is yes.....
