    Wake ups – 3:40am
    Finial wake up – 6:30am

    Lucid
    Not-Dream

    - I was driving a car around a car park. The car park was pretty much full and I couldn’t find anywhere to park. As I was driving down a lane the car stops responding to what I tell it to do. It then starts to control its self. It then started to spin around on the spot. I noticed that this shouldn’t be able to happen as there definitely wasn’t enough room to do this a second ago as the nearby cars were too close.

I figured that this was a dream and too check it I did the nose pinch RC. As I expected I could breathe through it and I became completely lucid. I tried to get the car to stop moving but I woke up as I was trying. I looked over to my alarm clock and noticed that I should have been up about an hour ago. I rushed up and went to go make a quick breakfast. As I was running down the stairs I woke up again. (I thought to myself that I thought I just woke up. I did a quick RC and found out that this wasn’t a dream and that must have been a FA.)

    - I was in my kitchen getting myself ready to go out as I was going to run a shop my dad had bought. I could hear my brother and sister arguing about something upstairs.

Awesome, plmnko098!! Congratulations on the lucid!

I tell you, that whole routine with cars acting crazy and not responding to what you tell them to do is so common, yet I miss this dreamsign all the time. In fact, I don't think that I've gotten lucid once this way as the driver (although I did get a micro-lucid once as a passenger.) So great job on taking advantage of this!

You know, maybe I should spend more time questioning whether I'm in a dream while I drive. I don't mean driving around town performing the nose plug RC and trying to levitate. But more just keeping the thought in mind a bit more the way I do when I'm walking around. Was this something you'd been working on?

Tricky little false awakening too! It's too bad you didn't luck out and get one of those moments where the alarm clock says something crazy like 36:73.

No, this wasn't really something i was working on. At the moment i have just been working on getting a normal sleep routine going again.

I guess i was just lucky i happened to notice it. It could be because i have just started learning how to drive recently so i guess i have started paying more attention to stuff when i'm in a car.

Very nice. It's amazing how much of a difference just paying attention makes. It's made me very conscious about how readily I'll tend to get caught up in my own thoughts if I don't stay actively engaged and aware of the world around me.

Nothing like learning a new skill to focus the mind (especially one that involves piloting two tons of metal!)

Ever since i started really paying attention to the world around me i have noticed that my dreams shot up the the amount of detail i recall. But i normally tend to also get caught up in thought that i don't noticed anything that's going on around me sometimes.
