i had my second LD this morning and it was so weird i was just thinking about things in my head and it was like my thoughts were stories and i was watching them play out and i watched about three of them and then the next thing i knew i was sitting in my living room watching TV and i thought "this cant be possible i was just lying in my bed" and then i worked on dream clarity and stabalizing it lasted longer than before but it still faded out

      Hi Tory!

Congratulations on the second LD! I am so jealous!

I know exactly what you mean "it was like my thoughts were stories and I was watching them play out". I have gotten to this point before but I have never successfully transitioned into a dream lucid. Would you mind describing your experience in a little bit more detail? What did your transition feel like? How did you realize you were dreaming?

      Thanks for sharing!

well i was drifting in and out of sleep all night and eventualy i got to this stage where i was looking at my dreams in my head kind of like a slideshow diffrent scenarios kept passing through, and this is the stage were i would usualy relize whats happening get excited and then snap out of it by accident but this time i wasnt trying to LD so i realized what was happening and I didnt care ( witch is why i didnt get to excited and become to allert) but then i got to a stage iv never got to before it was like i was still watching these dreams but i could actually feel the things i did in the dream eg. i scraped my boot on the dust and i actualy felt it on my heel. but i was stilll not completly aslleep it was like i was half in the dream world and half not. and then in a split second i was instantly sitting in my living room (i was fully aslleep now) and then i must have onely just cought the tail end of the dream coming together couse i saw the show on TV kinda float up and on to the TV screen and then i thought " this is impossible i was just lying in my bed, plus TV shows dont fucken float around " and then i realized i was dreaming.

but instead of becoming realy excited and waking up straight away like the first one i remained calm and looked at my hands and said "dream clarity" and it worked for 2 seconds then went back to fuzzy i was in there long enough to see a couple things happen like my dad coming out and clapping and to notice i was missing my pinky finger but i just wast able to make it stable for long enough to realy do anything plus it was realy hard to talk as well it was like my jaw was paralyzed.

Wow! Thanks for describing that, it is supper helpful!

This is exactly where I am at "and this is the stage were i would usualy relize whats happening get excited and then snap out of it by accident"

This happens every time I try to WILD. Even though I am not sure how to counter this problem, other than to just keep practicing, it is encouraging to know that others are having similar difficulties and overcoming them!
