    Finally!

After a month of not having a proper lucid dream I was so relieved last night to finally have one!

I don't recall much about the beginning of the dream. I just remember being in a car with my mum and her two friends Tina and Jo. We were driving around my old neighborhood and Tina had an envelope on her knee. If I remember correctly Jo was driving the car and she pulled up and told Tina to go around the corner and post the letter. Tina did but it turns out she put the letter through the wrong door and an argument broke out. I sat there really confused. Why was I in a car with my mum and her friends? What was the letter? Why did Tina post it and not Jo and what the hell were they arguing about? That's when it hit me. This has to be a dream. I don't remember actually getting out of the car. I just remember being stood next to it whilst the argument continued. I walked along and remembered I wanted to speak to Scott (he's a hallucination/voice/guy that lives in my head/ whatever you wanna call it from waking life). I turned a corner and he was sat on my old neighbors doorstep. He got up and we walked down the street. I asked him what I should do about my future and he just said "do what makes you happy".
I was a bit annoyed at that answer as I was hoping for a deeper, more meaningful response. I was hoping he could map out my future for me, heh. Then everything went grey, an indication that I'm gonna wake up. I start to rub my hands together. My sight has gone but I can still hear and the friction and the heat from my hands keeps me grounded but I'm still stuck in the grey. I hear Scott say hold on. Suddenly he grabs my wrist and within a few seconds I'm back in the dream. I was surprised at how strong his grip was.
When I got my sight back we were somewhere else. It was night time and I was on some kind of dock. Across the water I could see a city. Scott told me to fly to it. I have a phobia of water so I really didn't like the idea of having to fly but I jumped off the railing and fired out energy from my hands to propel myself.

Now my method of flying seems different to a lot of people's. I can't simply jump and go into superman mode. My brain tries to figure out how it is that I'm actually flying. If I just try to jump and take off I end up doing a hulk style extended jump. Instead I have to have my hands usually pointing down and fire some kind of energy or air or whatever to propel myself. I can usually stay in the air for a while with this and if I fall I just propel myself again before I hit the ground.

I managed to cross the water fine. My senses had started to fail slightly at this point as there was no real sensation of flying. At one point I started to panic about the water and sure enough I started to fall towards it but when I hit it I just bounced straight back up. Once I got into the city I started to lose my lucidity even further. There was some kind of street party going on and I tried to find Scott but as soon as he appeared he would disappear again. I remember being in a cramped house and loads of guys kept giving me weird looks and I was scared they were gonna try and kill me and as I tried to leave the house more and more doors appeared and I couldn't figure out how to get out.
That's when everything went grey and I woke up.

      Congrats!
That's pretty interesting method of flying, sometimes flying using some method can be more satisfying than just flying, i hope it so for you.
Also it's nice when DC can get one back into dream, i should try finding some DC to do that as well, though recently in my lucid dreams DCs are actually actively trying to wake me up for some reason.
