SilentDream

August 9, 2013 (Dream at Bedtime)

I was in the car driving to some remote location with my brother. I didn’t know where we were going, but once we got there I was shocked to discover that my brother owned a resort that he had not told me about. It was a huge, beautiful place. Once inside we had a bottle of campaign and he asked me if I would mind making a card for his x-wife to show her where he was and invite her to join him there. I said that I would and ended up making this really unique card with a map on the front.

The other thing I remember about my dream involves a person I haven’t seen or heard from in over 15 years. He was in pain and was looking under the medicine cabinet for some pills that he kept under there. He told me that they had been under there for years because he really doesn’t like the way they make him feel. He said he has to be desperate to ever take any and this was only the second time that he had done so. That’s was it, he took a couple of his pills and I woke up.

False awakening:

In my dream I woke up to tell my son about the dream I was having. I walked into our kitchen and he was sitting at the table. I began to explain my dream when it dawned on me that it was nighttime. I thought to myself: “Wow, its night and my son is actually in bed asleep. Come to think of it, so I am. I must be dreaming!” I got so excited that I woke up as soon as I realized I was dreaming.
