Visions of the night

Lately once again my dreams have just been coming real brief and basically nothing to document...But last night I had this weird dream and the scenery is what seem to stand out the most.

I was staying in a one level house there were shades on the window but no curtains and I was concerned about privacy.. I start looking around.. I notice children going in and out this home.. I look out the window to only see a dried up plain.. no other houses were in place. I also see high cliffs surrounding the left side of the house.
A woman tells me someone is coming by and she just told me to be calm about it.. suddenly police come around wanting to question everyone one by one. I didn't want to protest and I was scared ...reason I do not know...
The sun is shining in the house and the police are on this cliff just chatting.. so I try to put the shades down to block them from view.. One of the officers take one of the children and said he will bring him back..
I find myself not so worried about the officers .. the scenery seems to attract my attention. I go out the backdoor and to my left I see an opening.. tall trees on each side of the opening and what looked like one of those metal coverings ... ones that store owners pull down when locking their property for the night.
It was open and I start looking deeper into that direction.. I see a beach and dark water.. waves were lightly crashing up against the rocks..
..so I tell myself hmm what if the water rises it will consume the home.. I find myself outside of the house up a hill looking at this opening.. I look down at the house and see that it is built in some sort of ditch.. I don't know what to make of it...

Scene switches and I am in a car with a friend of mine and we were trying to get home.. I am driving but the car wheel kept changing as well as the brakes.. there were no windows on this car and strangers kept coming up to our car chatting.. I looked at my friend and told her we need to get out of here fast.
So a crowd starts to gather and I told her it is best that we ditch the car.. so we do and begin walking.. all of a sudden we see people running past us screaming telling us to run and get out the way...
I climb up the side of a building and see this huge ass wave as well as water following behind it just coming down the street.. I yell at my friend and tell her we need to seek shelter..
I start knocking on a door and this woman tells me she can't let us in because she is scared.. I tried to be as calm as possible explaining to her a wave was coming and if she could let us in.. she is scared and grabs hold of the locked gate on her door and says " I am sorry I can't I am scared to let you in.." I am getting impatient and told her to help us.. I begin to panic and even called her a bitch during the whole ordeal... this wave is coming closer ..I look above me and there is this metal balcony .. I was like " wow if this wave smacks into this balcony it will kill me immediately..
..I hold on to the woman's door and she sees this wave to and starts crying.. I started to brace myself holding onto the side of the building and the wave hit.. I felt the cold salty water hit me and even clog my ears which was weird..
..immediately the whole area is deep in water.. and I am still hanging on to the side of the building.. my friend was no where to be found.. and I can see all sorts of creatures moving under this dirty water..

That was all I could recall..
