Date: 31/1/11 Lucid Non-Lucid ---------- I was walking through our auditorium when I looked through one of the classroom windows and saw all these people dancing. They were doing some butterfly dance. I stood there for a while peering through the windows, I was jealous of them. I couldn't dance nearly half as well as they could. The teacher was our old art teacher. There were two otherpeople also gazing through the windows. Eventually I walked away. Suddenly I was a few metres ahead of where I had last been. The sky was a different colour and I had the feeling that time had passed. I checked my watch and the date was the 2nd of February. I was sort of frightened. I pulled out my mobile phone and called my mum. "It happened again," I said. She told me just to go home and lie down. I wnet to my classroom to tell my teacbher but instead of my normal teacher it was my violin teacher. She was wearing a regal blue dress. I felt guilty because we had a concert coming up and I didn't want to disappoint her so I went inside. I forgot the rest I think there was something about a pool though... ---------- Method: DILD I was in our old house. My mum was talking to me as we walked down the stairs. I felt sure I was in reality but I did and RC check just in case. I pinched my nose and I could still breathe. I did it again just to double check. That's when I realised I was in a dream. I had always wanted to see what the finger through hand RC looked like in a dream so I did that and my finger went through my hand. I was not getting over excited and everything was really clear but I rubbed my hand just in case. I walked into the kitchen and spun around in circles a few times to see what it did - nothing really changed. Everything was so clear it was an exact replica of my old house. I was worried about how my dream recall would be and I didn't want to wake myself up. My dad walked into his room and I laughed because he was wearing those one-piece baby pajamas. They were blue and had flying pigs on them. I remembered that my goal was to find my dreamguide. My mum called out, "She's always in the pantry," and my dad laughed. I walked over to the pantry and looked inside. It was exactly how a pantry should look. Then I closed the door and opened it again - but she was still not there. I gave up on that and decided to try flying. I put my arms in the air superman style and jumped. I shot up into the air and I suddenly wasn't in my house anymore. I then became conscious of my sleeping body and tried to stay in the dream but it didn't seem as real anymore. I woke up and had to turn off my alarm clock (first time I've ever had one but my parents are making me). Wish I could have been lucid longer, but still really happy that I got my second lucid!!!
Date: 15/1/11 Lucid Non-Lucid I don't even wake up when I set my alarm to go off in the middle of the night - I sleep too deeply!!! ---------- I was in a big office building. I think that I was a journalist or something like that. Work was just ending and as I walked out, down the big steps that led up to the building. The mail man was walking up the steps yelling something that indicated the mail he had was mine. For a brief second I wondered why they yelled it out as they walked and was on the brink of becoming lucid but then dismissed the thought entirely I received a package though and then another boy about my age was coming up the steps. "Oh, good, you got it," he said, "Could you deliver that for me?" I nodded and kept going, thinking that it was a gift and that he had a crush on me. (???) Jessie, Vivian and I rollerbladed home but I kept falling over and having trouble getting back up. Finally, when we reached the top of the hill I read the label and it said 'Chuck Rosemary'. I thought about that for a while and then realised that it was for my Great Aunt who was staying there with me (I was located in Nambucca Heads). I was quite disappointed that it wasn't for me but I went and delivered it to Rosemary anyway. Then I returned to my Grandmother's little cottage. My sister was there as well. "So, what are we having for dinner?" my Grandmother asked me and Laura. "How about pizza?" I suggested. "Good idea, d'you know how to order it?" my Grandmother asked. "Not really... I'll go ask my Dad!" I said and ran over to the caravan. No one was there but I ran into my dad on the way back. "How do we order pizza?" I asked. "What do you mean? The same way we always order pizza!" Suddenly I had a vision of walking up to the kiosk and ordering pizza. "Oh! I remember now, thanks!" ---------- This dream was probably influenced by the floods here in South Queensland O_o I was standing in a desert sort of area lined with cars. I was there with a group of people I know. Jessie, Vivian and some guy I didn't know ran towards a car and hopped in the trunk as the floodwaters suddenly came and became knee deep. They closed the trunk but I could see through it and saw them saying, "1,2,3 kick!" and they kicked the boot open. They did it again but the water went over the top of the boot and they coudn't kick it open on their first kick but it worked ontheir second. "Why are you guys doing that?! You could be killed!" I said. We crossed over to the other side and the flood waters seemed to disappear without me noticing. Over the other side though we saw two massive waves coming from opposite sides aboutto converge. Some people screamed and I held my breath. The waves didn't come together though, it was like they were moving in slwo motion. I let out a nervous laugh. "Come on, our only chance is if we jump onto those ones!" Jessie shouted and pointed at the waves. They were no longer waves of water but they were actually waves of earth now, so they could be jumped on. We ran towards them and were about to jump on one when suddenly everything calmed down andn all the waves disappeared. There was a group of cowboy like people who looked like bad guys from a western movie standing there. Everybody sat down in front of the men but they disappeared. One of my friends, Grace was there but a teacher led them away. I quickly ran into a nearby shop that hadn't been there just a moment ago. "Have you got any suspects?" I asked. "I found this," he held up something that looked a bit like a key and had a number on it. "Have you found what it goes with?" I asked. "I think so," he said. He pulled out a suitcase and opened it. It was empty but had felt lining. He put the key in it and looked at it. "It fits!" he said triumphantly. I couldn't exactly see how it did fit but I was overjoyed nonetheless. "Who's is it?" I asked. He pointed out a name on the top. It said '_______ Yakamoto'. (I don't remember the first name). I thought that it might have been Grace. I grabbed it and headed out the door, and ran after the group of people. I caught up to them down by a creek in the bush. "Grace!" I called. She turned around. "Is this-" I pushed the suitcase towards her. "Oh thanks!" she said and grabbed it. "Yours? Oh good! Because I wasn't sure it was yours because it was Yakamoto and..." I trailed off. ---------- All I remember was needing to go to the toilet and walking into one of the stalls and sitting down and then I went toilet. In the stall next to me was a girl from my school called Amy and her friends were standing outside. I looked at the wall next to me but I suddenly realised how high the wall was. I could see the bottom of her legs and they were really hairy. I was surprised because Amy was one of the popular girls. When I'd finished I pulled my pants up and flushed the toilet but I still felt like I needed to go toilet. But I didn't really want to go again with Amy and her friends right there. I walked out and saw Amy's friends laughing, one held her shoes in her hands, and they were made out of paper. I did dream more but I can't remember it The hairy legs things seems to be recurring... maybe it's a dream sign

Date: 14/1/11 Lucid Non-Lucid Tried a VILD last night when I went to bed and when I woke up but they didn't work ---------- My dream began with Jessie and my family surrounded by people wanting to take us hostage. They were yelling at us. "Now!" Jessie yelled and used her knife to cut loose three or four kites that were tied to posts. I leapt forward and grabbed the end of the kite and Jessie did the same. The kite lifted me up off the ground and I started blowing across the valleys that dipped and rose below me. It was hard to hold on and I kept slipping, I was worried tha tI would fall off before I made it to our safe destination but I managed to hold on. Jessie landed next to me and then my "family" followed. In the dream they were my family but they aren't in real life. My "sister" a dove faced girl held onto her kite but only with one hand and with the other she spread her arms out and assumed a flying position. Realising that was how you were meant to fly, I tried to do that without a kite but face planted into the ground. My mum and dad landed as well. ---------- This is sort of a continuation of the other dream. Rain was bucketing down but I was still at the safe area. Most people ran indoors into the big centre but Vivian and I stayed and got drenched. "What're they doing?" I asked. "They're calling our grade one class," Vivian said. I didn't really know why, but I accepted it. "So everyone is going to have to come here?" "Yep," she nodded. I thought about that for a second and then headed back towards the centre. Inside, everyone was drinking warm, milky, sweet drinks. I took one and slurped it up. Then I headed to the cabins that were opposite the centre. The dove-faced girl disappeared from our family and was replaced with my brother, James .My mum, dad and James chose a place for us to set up our things and we had a whole section of the cabins to ourselves. It was actually quite luxurious. "Auntie Kate is here," my mum told me. "Really?" I said excitedly and ran towards the centre. It was no longer raining, instead it was actually quite sunny. I found Auntie Kate at the back of the centre sitting behind a table with a few other people. I went and took a seat next to her, hugged her and said hello. A mid-aged woman arrived at thte table and looked at me and sighed, "I hope other kids aren't going to come here and want refills," she snapped. "No, they're not," I said as I realised that I was going to get another one of the hot drinks. The woman got to work and filled some foam cups with shredded cheese. I was surprised and sort of grossed out - cheese. I hadn't thought that the drinks were made out of cheese. ---------- Another continuation of the other dream. Auntie Kate seemed to have disappeared from this dream. I walked into the cabin with Vivian, "This is the best school camp ever!" I said. Vivian nodded and eagerly agreed. Then we split, and I went down to my family's section of the cabin. "I don't think I'll have a shower today," my mum said to my dad as I passed them. I hopped into my bunk bed and it was extremely comfy. It was all set up because I had been living there for the past week. Later on that night there were heaps of people in the showers and I really couldn't be bothered. "I don't think I'll shower tonight because there are so many people, I'll shower tomorrow mornign," I said to my mum. "You can't not shower tonight," she said and then introduced various arguments supporting her view. "But you're not showering tonight," I said and she went silent. ---------- This was a dream I had after I woke up and was pissed at myself for not going lucid so I thought I'd try again... I wasn't successful. I walked into a dimly lit room where there stood a beautiful woman who was counselling a boy who looked to be about 17. When she saw me she dismissed him. (Btw, in this dream I was a guy...) "I brought something for you," I said and handed her a skull. Her eyes lit up and she opened a jar and took off the top of the skull. She tipped a runny yellow liquid from the skull into the jar. Then the adolescent boy returned and he was holding a skull which he had taken the top off and was now trying to put it back on upside down. "Why are you putting it on upside down?" she asked. "I don't know," the boy said and turned it around. He had watery eyes and looked completely out of it. "What have you been doing?" she asked him. "I played a drinking game," he admitted. "What drinking game?" "I had to drink this lemon drink and I didn't know what was in it but I got a lot of money," he laughed. "Why would you drink something if youdidn't know what it was?" she asked. She reached for another skull and tipped more yellow liquid into the jar and continued talking to the boy. Suddenly the yellow liquid reached the top and she quickly stopped tipping. She smied with satisfactiona and screwed the top on the jar. ---------- I woke up then and tried to go back into the dream by re-imagining that place but I just fell asleep. When I next woke up I kept my eyes closed. I was annoyed because my attempt to re-enter the dream had not been successful. I felt my cat, Misha, curled up in my arm and I breathed in but got her cat hair all into my mouth and throat so I opened my eyes spluttering. When I opened my eyes it was strange. There was no cat, and I did not have any cat hair in my throat. Then I was extra annoyed that I had not done a reality check because it had been an FA... *sigh*
Date: 13/1/11 Lucid Non-Lucid *sigh* Yet another fruitless night ---------- I was in my grandfather's car, in the passenger seat. It was a pretty cool car - shiny, grey, without a roof. "I'll be back in a moment," he said and hopped out. We were parked in a car park. Suddenly the car began to roll backwards. I quickly jumped up and hopped into drivers seat and put my foot on the brake. Despite that the car kept rolling backwards although slower than before. I reached for the hand brake and pulled that but it didn't change and the car continued to roll backwards. Suddenly my Grandfather arrived. "What are you doing?" he said. "The car was rolling backwards," I said. "You only needed to press the brake," he said. I jumped back into my seat as he hopped into the drivers side. ---------- My Grandfather was driving me and my sister somewhere when he suddenly pulled over to the side of the road. "I think I'll go now," he said. "But who will drive us back?" I asked. "Your sister can drive!" (She doesn't have a license) Then he disappeared. Laura pulled the car out and was doing a pretty good job at driving. Suddenly I noticed a 60 year old guy behind us with a camera trying to get a picture of the license plate. I threw myself at him and grabbed the camera. Then he pulled out another camera and I got that one as well. I jumped back into the car as he ran after us. For some reason I jumped back out of the car again. "Up here!" my sister called. She turned the car towards a cliff face and began driving on an extrely narrow road up it. I turned and followed it. It should have been impossible for the car to get up but she was already up the top. I followed carefully, almost falling off the edge. Finally I reached the top. I laughed, "Oh! We went up here because he's too old to get up here!" I said. Then the guy at the bottom ran up at half the speed I had. I almost fell off and he grabbed my arm, "You right?" he asked. I nodded.
Date: 11/1/11 (<Awesome date ) Lucid Non-lucid Decided to get back into lucid dreaming and start my dream journal again. I sort of had to put it aside because of how hectic school became but my New Year's resolution was to have at least one more lucid dream this year!!! ---------- I was in an indoor car impound lot. Well I wasn't really in it but was watching it like a movie. There was scary and suspenseful music. A young girl in a white dress who looked to be about 10 was walking through the cars. Her older brother wasn't far behind. Gibbs from NCIS stood up on a raised platform at the back of the building, watching them and laughing. The girl ran her hand along a white car and twirled around laughing. She ran away as her brother began to chase her. Her brother touched the same car that his sister had and it suddenly exploded. It wasn't a big explosion but it was big enough to destroy the car and Gibbs' son with it. Gibbs had a shocked expression on his face and the image froze and faded to black. ---------- I was in a school - not one I've ever been to before. But me and my friend, Jessie were there together. Nothing was mentioned but I knew that everyone at this school, including us, was being kept prisoner by the teachers. Jessie and I had established a sort of 'nest'area where we stashed forbidden goods. The goods included chocolate, which we were forbidden to have and Jessie had never even heard of it until I smuggled some into the school. On this particular day, Mr B, arrived in the carpark. In real life Mr B is one of my teachers but in the dream he was just a friend. He pulled up in his car and Jessie and I ran over to it. I peered into the boot and saw some soft drink (another forbidden good) and chocolate. "Jess! Look at this!" I said and pointed to it. Jessie gasped. "Mr B! Can we have some?" she asked in an excited but hushed voice. Mr B looked around cautiously and then nodded and popped the boot. We pulled it open and leant in, stuffing our faces with chocolate and soft drink. "Girls, what are you doing?" we heard the head mistress call out. We quickly put down the food and drinks and looked back to her, over the rooves of some of the other cars. She couldn't have seen what we were doing. "Just saying hello to Mr B!" I replied. "Come back at once!" she called. Jessie quickly ran back and I stood there for a moment trying to think of a way I could smuggle back the soft drink but I didn't end up doing it and joined Jessie back near our nest. Later, there was another chance and we made a dash to the car and finished up the chocolate and soft drink. When we returned to the building however, the head mistress was standing out the front with her hands on her hips. "Been eating chocolate have we?" she asked and Jessie and I remained silent. "Show me where the rest is," she demanded. Meekly we took her to our nest where Jessie leant in as if looking for more chocolate but I could see her quickly gobbling up the rest. "There is nothing here," she said to the head mistress. "Okay," the head mistress complied and left. "Phew! That was close!" I said. Despite days of immersing myself in different techniques and being completely positive that they would work I haven't had success yet but I'm sure I will soon!!!!
