    1. Short lucid

      by , 08-21-2011 at 07:57 AM (DarkSider's Dream Journal)
After more than a week without any lucids, I finally had one, but it was very short.
My alarm wasnt doing a very good job at waking me up, so, last night I slept without it.
I was dreaming a dream about wrestling and suddenly I found myself awake, in my bed. I relaxed, and counted to 10.
I then felt that feeling again, it felt nice.
I'm now in my dream. I say to myself: "Let's do this" As I get up.
Theres one problem, though. I can't open my eyes they seem to be glued together. I tried rubbing them, and it worked. I then looked at my hands and they looked blurry, very blurry. I rubbed them and they felt sweaty. My eyes then quicly shut closed and I woke up.

Short, but it's nice to have one after a while

    2. More stable

      by , 08-10-2011 at 07:57 AM (DarkSider's Dream Journal)
Whew, another lucid, and a few other dreams.
Right, so tonight, I gace DEILD another shot and I think it just became my favourite inducing technique. I attempted it twice tonight, though it only worked the second time. I set my alarm to go off at 4am. I thought that was enough for me to get decent sleep. I woke up about 2-3 hours before the alarm. After feeling concious, my leg twitched and it was enough to get me out of REM, not too dissapointed, I fell asleep.
My alarm went off, I havent moved or blinked. There was this ringing sound in my head. I started counting to ten. As I counted to 7, I felt that incredible feeling again, only weaker than last time.
My body became heavy and numb. I knew this was the signal to do a RC. I slowly lifted my hand and pinched my nose. I could breathe. I was A LOT calmer than last time. I layed on my bed, letting everything to settle. I slowly got up and raised my hands before my eyes. They looked normal, no extra fingers or anything strange. They were blurry on the edges though. As I concentrated on my hands, I tried concentrating on the smell, and sound aswell. The one thing I always seem to forget is feeling some texture and tasting something. With that done, I stood up.
I was infront of my mirror. I looked just like the way I do in the real world
(The dream even remembered my new haircut I got yesterday)
Only one thing which was odd was that I was wearing clothes. The reflection behind me was my old wardrobe we had, with a christmas calendar . It's gone now. Everything was still blurry and I was feeling dizzy, so I looked down at the ground. Looked up and everything looked stable. I decided to begin exploring my dream.
I woke up my borther this time and asked him to join me. He did so without hesitation. Since it was dark out, I wanted to use some passive control to make it brighter. As we were leaving the apartment, I told my mom that we were going outside, because It's a beutiful and sunny day outside. The hallway looked normal, but it wad darker. As we were climbing down the stairs, I noticed cows while looking trough the window, alot of cows! We're outisde. The outside looked nothing like I've ever seen before. Some cars, a playground and other buildings. I noticed something strange when I was outside aswell. I was avle to finally move freely, without my hands sliding, eyes closing or any other stuff. Next, I wanted to do something fun, so I thought about lifting a car. I walked to a car and slowly bent down. And slowly but surely lifted the car of the ground. Suprisingly, the car was as light a toaster, even lighter. Then I gently put the car down. I was happy, and continued exploring the world. I asked my brother to summon my best friend to where I was, but he refused. I asked him two more times and he still refused. Oh well, I guess I didn't have enough control. Moving along, I aproached a big red wall. Feeling strong, I wanted to destroy it. I would've done it, if I hadn't lost conciousnes. The dream ended and I woke up to my dad leaving for work again.
Still, I was happy that I was able to have a lucid dream.
I also remember a few fragments of dream which I had before this one.
I was on vacation last week. We went to see the Baltic Sea

I find myslef climbing a sand dune for my life, because the water is slowly rising. Climbing was EXTREMELY hard and it felt like something was pulling me down.

    3. A succesful DEILD

      by , 08-08-2011 at 06:58 AM (DarkSider's Dream Journal)
I'm literally shaking while writing this, because I'm very exited. I don't remember experiencing something like this before. Right. So, I awake from a dream I just had, I can't remember it, but one of the DC's actually told me to wake up and I did it in an instant. Everything around me shook and vibrated. I was in the waking world. I was fully concious, with my eyes closed and without moving an inch, so I decided to DEILD.
I was very sleepy, but also awake at the same time, I could hear this ringing noise in my head, which I read about, and knew that this is a good time to DEILD. I noticed my left wrist was extended, so I slowly put it in a relaxed state. That didn't wake me up. I then began to slowly count to ten. After I said five, I felt an amazing experience. I was actually being pulled down my bed, I was shaking, vibrating, and I had this sensation. I knew that this was it. After that experience I didn't even bother continueing to count 10.
Then it happened, was almost 100% sure I was in a dream. I said to my self: "finally". I smiled, I was happy, and attempted to pinch my nose.
Thats when I knew that being in a lucid dream or controling it wont be an easy task. My arms wouldn't move. That somehow didn't bother me. I just used more force into moving the hands than I ussualt do. I pinched my nose, and started breathing. Yup, 100% lucid. I could breathe crealry as if nothing was blocking it. I was still with my eyes closed. So I tried to imagine a grassy field around my bed when I open them. I then felt light coming in trough my closed eyes. Exitedly, I tried opening them. But I couldn't, my eyelids wouldn't move. Nervously, I stood up and tried opening them with the help of my hands. It worked, whew. The next thing that I noticed being weird was the movement of my arms. They were moving very smoothly.
I'll try to explain: When I do something with my arm, and then suddenly stop, it doesn't stop right away. It then "slides" down to the direction I was using it in and then completely stops. This later seems to dissapear as the dream progresses (I hope you understand). So It wasn't a grassy field, that didn't discourage me. It was my room. Completely identical to the one in the waking world. It was fun, but a bit frightening at first. my room wasn't completely dark, it had dim lighting. I then suddenly noticed movement in the room. It was my brother in his bed. This is where I lost lucidity for a moment, panicked and jumped to his bed, when I saw his face starting to transform. I covered him with a pillow, beat him up, stand away from the bed. I then regained concious control. The next thing I remembered was dreams stabilization. I stood still, closed my eyes, and touched the first thing I could reach. My desk. It felt exactly the same. I was surprised. I then touched my bookshelf above it. It felt the same too. I then took a deep breath. I completely forgot about testing my hearing and eyesight. With that done, I proceeded to check out the rest of my home. But first, I wanted to use my mirror, I stood infront of the mirror and but my hand on it expecting for it to go trough. it didn't, well atleast tried, though I couldn't see my reflection, not any other reflection for that matter. I went to my parents room, and heard voices, a little frightened I continued walking. Another strange that cought my attention is that I didn't feel my legs. I knew I was walking, but I couldn't feel the ground I'm standing on, nor the legs I'm moving with.
My parents room looked the same, my mom was sitting in her bed doing something, with my brother next to her. I didn't do anything stupid this time. I just ignored it. I then proceeded to exit my apartment. I remembered having another mirror, near the door, so I checked that too. I could see my reflection. I was shorter, I looked the same, but the reflection was off. Everythime I focused on one spot, it looked blury, while everything else looks normal, but still a bit weird. It was funny. I then unlocked my door, and slowly opened it. Birght white light. My corridor was almost the same, exept it was longer, and wider, and more white. This is where the action begins. I see some people walking door to door. A woman and 2-3 men, I can't remember. Those men looked big, strong mean, and had strange faces. They then saw me, and started walking to my door. I panicked a little, but managed to keep my cool and opened the door for them. I I couldn't understand what they were saying. Suddenly i felt very angry. Super angry. And punched the woman in the face in a raging furry. She fell to the ground. I was then alone, standing next to 3 big men who didn't look friendly. I started running towarss one and wanted to use dream control. I imagined that i would hit him so hard, he would go trough the wall. I punched him, he hit the wall and the wall just cracked. Still, it was a start. I felt powerful. I took care of them with ease. I then found my self in an office room, it didn't feel weird, so I went along with it (I could still feel being fully concious) I looked out trough the window and saw something which resembled tiggers? I was curious to see what they were. I the see my friend and dad, sitting on some chairs next to the window of the room (I wont try to explain how the room looked, because I can't remember) I ask my friend to help me remove the courtains, which were blocking the window. the curtains looked like the ones in my apartment, because my mom put on new ones a few days ago. With nothing blocking the window, I punched it. My punches felt so powerful. The glass didn't brake. I started rapidly punching the glass, with the room shaking. Nothing.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, felt the sudden urge to wake up. I closed my eyes and immediatly found myself in my bed.
I could remember everything clear as day, but after a few minutes the memory started fading, so I couldn't wright it down in greater detail. It turns out the thing which trigered me to awake was my dad going to work. I was smilling, and was happy. This was one heck of an experience for me.

    4. Lucid, atlast!

      by , 07-29-2011 at 09:29 AM (DarkSider's Dream Journal)
Holy crap, I think I had my first lucid last night. I remember atleast 2 dreams, some of them are fragments, though.
I'm an orphan, I'm walking somewhere, but I don't know where. I find myself infront of a house. I'm greeted inside by a middle aged man with a beard. I soon find out that the man looks afer orphaned children. I meet a few. They don't seem to like me at first. The first thing I notice when I begin living in the house is a long water hose stretching in every room in the house.
I start accusing the man to be psycho pedophile. He keeps explaining that he loves kids and wants to take care of them. All of the kids are on his side, I begin arguing and even attack the man in a fury.
The first dream. It may not make much sense because I can't remember it in detail and remember fragments of it.
I then wake up. I lay still, barely opened my eyes and begin to DEILD. After a few seconds I get hit in the head by my sleeping brother. The DEILD failed.
I'm in a party with friends. Theres music, everyones having fun. The room was big and there was a lot of people, I only regognized a few.
I walk up to a snack bar. Theres a lot of food and a deck of cards?
      I start shufling the cards.
Then suddenly, out of nowhere, I start screaming: I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming!.
I finally realise it's a dream, fully concious I feel like I've never felt before in a dream. I never remembered the feeling of being lucid. I was happy, pumped up to do something amazing. Then I get a strange feeling. I start seeing myself in 3d person, still concious and aware of dreaming. I feel myself in my bed. I between the waking world and dreaming world and canvfully control myself in my bed. I heard all of the external sounds. I know that if I open my eyes, the dream will end.
Everything goes black. My brother wakes me up again by hitting me in the face.
It took me a few hours to recall these dreams. I'm really happy that It
Didn't take me a few months to finally become lucid. But I still get this feeling that I dreamt being lucid. Sorry if this entry doesn't make
      any sense.
