The first thing I remember is being outside with a lot of people. Alex and Dan were there, and then some people from the dorm that I supposedly knew, but I couldn't quite put faces on them. We were all trying to get into this little caged in area that was strictly for people who have cards that allow their entry. Previously, we had managed to get a bunch of cards from a few people. Riley had a card of his own that he had taken from someone, but he was very nervous to use it. He thought that someone would recognize that it wasn't his. I was sure that he would be perfectly okay. I apparently had done it many times before. I was looking at it and people had already started to get into it. They found some sort of glitch. In the far right corner from the door, one guy began puling down the door on what looked like a toaster oven. Every time he did that, the front door part of the cage would retract into the island-looking centerpiece of the area. But it would only stay there for a matter of seconds before coming back. It was very interesting a piece of machinery. At one point when it opened, it opened in a much different way. It opened up and looked more like it was going to stay open, so it was much slower a transition. Alex walked closer and closer and definitely could have gotten in at one point, but he didn't. I told him that he could have totally gotten in but he only remarked about how scary it was almost being crushed by the bars when the suddenly fell back down and closed. We were all very energetic at the time, and there was almost a feeling like we were getting ready to leave on a trip. I say this because near the building there was a bunch of bags filled with snacks and cigarettes. We were all trying to smoke something, no matter what it was. People were offering things to other people.I sort of wanted to smoke, but I wan't particularly intent on it. My card, I found out slightly after I got it, was blank with no signature, so I knew that it hadn't even been activated yet. It still even had other little cards still on it that were only meant to be temporary. I saw Gabe an saw him smoking so I assumed he had something to smoke. This was the first time I looked in the back. Gabe shot off down the hill to my left as I reached the bag on only what I could rationalize as a little razor scooter that was slightly too small for him to ride. I looked in the bag and there was another guy near it sort of being its keeper. He recommended something of his to me that he just found recently. I thought it was a type of cigarette the way he described it and by the fact that it was definitely in a cigarette box when I first saw it. I picked it up and opened something out of it as he was telling me where he got it and how good it is. It turned out it was a some small piece of candy-looking cough drop. He insisted I try it, and I could smell it, and it smelled delightful, so I popped it into my mouth. I thought about what t would taste like with some sort of smoke and I quickly stopped thinking about that. We all of the sudden needed to go back inside, and there was a set of four double doors, two at first and then another pair. Everyone was opening doors for each other and no one was going through the right doors. I even opened the door for two people that were in wheelchairs and neither of them accepted my kindness. We all got in and there was a check in process that I know I proceeded with and finished but it was short and I can't remember exactly how it went. But I was in and there was a booth where people were filling out questionnaires about safe sex. I really didn't want to do it, but apparently after filling it out you got a bunch of cool little items like stickers and notebooks, so I decided to fill it out. I grabbed the paper and I had a green pen, and I remember writing some words. I think it was something like, "Safe sex is very important...," before I got distracted by something else. Although, before the rest of the dream happened, I remember how smooth I recognized the actual writing to be. From then on, the scene was very interesting. Out of nowhere, a movie-like scene of railroads and old dusty towns filled my eyes and my ears. I could hear sounds of railroad tracks being hit with hammers and the sound of the train clicking on the tracks was louder than ever. I could see different people walking around but everything was beautifully, and in a very artistic fashion, surrounded by clouds of dust. It was fun to be a part of. Some of the words being said, in terms of the specific town we were in, had to do with the founders and how the innovations in train technology were what sort of defined the town, especially from the last trainsman, the one who was still alive today. The dream was closing to an end as I saw Whoopie Goldberg, of all people, also working away. I was putting rocks down in a little crevice to fill it up so it would be safe and the dream started to fade.
