I was walking through a house with two other people I am acquainted to. I forget how exactly I became lucid, I was just lucid. And it took me a while to figure out that this was someone else's house. The people who owned it came in the house, and I ran to hide. I went into their basement and heard them following, so I went out the first door I saw. Then, some parts are kind of unclear, but I ended up in their kitchen with them behind me. There was a door there (two, in fact), but they were about two inches on all sides and in the middle of the wall. I turned around, found another door, and bolted out. I was in an alley. Now alone, I decided to fly. I leapt and floated back down. I leapt again and landed on three telephone wires. I climbed onto something (a platform, I guess) and suddenly, the dream switched settings, into the entryway of a house. I wanted to levitate, but suddenly, gravity seemed to shift and I was being pulled forward. The dream melted away from there.
I'm obsessed with Sims 3 lately, so that might explain the dream. I was playing the Sims 3 on DS. I was playing one of my real-life game slots, with the same two characters and house. Then, suddenly, I had the opportunity to make a new character. I was very happy, because you can only have two people in the house, and I was about to make a third. I made her, naming her something that started with an "A" (I forget), and she turned out to be pretty, as I remember it. She had short, dark brown hair and was tall and skinny, with stern but kind of mousey features. I'm not sure if she had a hat or not. When I began playing the game again, I saw some guy with blond dreadlocks and some king of blue decoration in his hair on my character thingy, and I deleted him, but I remember wanting to make a boyfriend for the mousey-stern girl. The last thing I recall is the mousey-stern person sitting on the bed next to one of my real-life characters, and me wanting to give her boyfriend red hair.
I was in my bathroom, when, out of the blue, I decided to do a nose RC. I thought I wasn't dreaming at the time (it was a very vivid dream). So when I tried my nose RC and it came out negatively, I was even more convinced. However, I'm kind of OCD about reality checks, and anyway, I seemed to recall that little breath had actually been produced. So I tried again, and it came out positively! I walked out into the hall and briefly saw my hall window, wondering if I should jump out and try to fly. I decided against it and stood at the top of the stairs. The dream was becoming hazy, so I rubbed my hands together. No effect. I said, "stabilize," and there was still no effect. I then continued my hand-rubbing and, after the word "stabilize" coming out weirdly and me trying again, it finally cleared up. My dream kind of skipped over going down the stairs, but then I walked out the door, onto the front porch. There were about five kittens playing there. One was a calico tortie, and another was black. I remember petting their fur, and it feeling not soft, but dry, kind of. Then I remember a tornado of water with a shrunken head on it, and me controlling it somehow. After this I only remember snippets. I was somewhere dark, and I wanted it to be light, but then I realized that light switches don't work in dreams. And I remember closing my eyes and opening them somewhere else.
I was in a castle where this person was breeding zebrafish. She began telling us (there was a group of us listening to her) that the last time she tried, "a horrible loch ness monster type of thing was born," quoted by her. At this point, the dream flashed to a movie-like close-up of a flashback of the monster as a baby. One of its eyes was closed, and it opened it to reveal a cat-like violet eye. It was kind of a mixture of a sea monster and a dragon. More like a dragon, actually, but it didn't have wings. It had a fierce look to it. Then, the close-up disappeared and it went back to normal. She said, "The only way to kill one of these terrible things is if it is young enough to not be green. If it is green, it is an adult and becomes immortal. If you do manage to capture one when it is young, throw it on a hard surface to kill it." Then the egg of the zebrafish began to crack (yes, the egg cracked like a chicken's) and she told us to go outside. There was a lake outside, and a wide, open field that led to a street. So, it looked like a mansion, I suppose. We just sat down and waited, until finally the zebrafish woman came out. But no one really did anything, just sat. Then, I saw something peek out of the lake that looked kind of like an arm with another arm branching off of it. I knew immediately that it was the monster that had just been born. I screamed, "Oh! Someone look! HELP!" No one looked. The arm left, and then I saw a green, slimy back slide through the water. "LOOK!" I cried. They looked, and I realized that now we couldn't kill it, because it was green. Everyone screamed and scrambled up, and we ran. I was running with this curly-haired boy, down the street. We heard a roar and a huge footstep in the distance behind us, but we didn't look. We just ran. The street we were on was very suburban-looking, with no cars and only a bit of sidewalk. But we were on the street itself, not the sidewalk. We turned a corner, and another (we were still going downhill), when we saw a park. It had a playground and a baseball field, so we decided to stop there. Everyone else from the group was there, playing football. It never once occurred to me that it was odd to be playing football when a giant monster was after us. Then, a TV appeared out of the blue in front of us. It showed a news channel, with a reporter telling about the monster and showing clips of it. The first clip showed it chomping down on an empty van laying on its side, and pulling it up so it rolled on its own. It began following the van. Then something clicked in my head. The van was being pulled along by gravity. So if it was rolling on its own, it was only going downhill. And the monster was following it. And we had only gone downhill. I screamed, and the curly-haired boy must have realized it too, because he grabbed my wrist and started running towards a building. He let go of my hand and motioned for me to go up first. I began running up the stairs of the building, which seemed completely empty except for the long, winding staircase. I kept running, when the stairs stopped, leading to a floor and a tiny room with no door. There were more stairs on another part of the room, so really it was more of a "rest" when you are going from floor to floor. I skidded to a halt when I realized there was no wall on the "room" on one section. Actually, it was more like a huge, open bay window. Had I kept running, I would have zoomed out and fallen a long way into the street below. I made the mistake of looking down at the cars below, and I swallowed and struggled to keep my balance. I ran up the other stairs, but then I gasped with horror and stopped. It was a dead end. I woke up, but it didn't fully register that I was out of the dream for a few minutes. I wonder what would have happened if the dream had continued. Would the monster have come? Maybe. My nightmares almost always have a bad ending, so the monster probably would have suddenly decided to look in the building. Or something.
I was in my school girl's bathroom in a stall in the dream, and I was looking into the bathroom. Not into another stall, I'm not... yeah. So I saw my male Social Studies teacher washing his hands, and I said, "Um, excuse me, but this is the girls' bathroom." He smiled creepily and said, "I know." At this point I became lucid. I decided to teleport, since a bathroom wasn't the greatest place to lucid dream. So I closed my eyes and opened them, and I was in a dark house. It was silent, so it was probably night. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, and I scrambled to hide. Too late. A man speaking German was walking down the stairs wearing a suit and tie. He spotted me and began walking towards me. Nervous and afraid this would turn into a lucid nightmare, I said, "You're not real." He stopped dead, shrugged, and sat down in a rocking chair. That was easy, I thought. i decided to shape-shift, so I used a method I read on the forum somewhere and started acting like I was a cat. I shimmied around on my hands and knees, meowing and batting at the German guy's shiny black shoes. I heard his family coming down the stairs, and when they saw me, they began to stare oddly at me and murmur to each other in German. I must have been quite a sight. I woke up laughing.
I used my technique, CMILD (see Induction Techniques), again tonight. I distinctly remember becoming lucid; I just forget what happened. Well, most of it. I remember going to sleep repeating my mantra, then falling into a dream and thinking, "I'm lucid. Now what should I do?"
I tried a technique I made up that I have dubbed "CMILD." WOW does it work!!!! It stands for Conscious Mantra Induced Lucid Dream. It's similar to MILD. What you do is, about an hour before you go to sleep, start saying in your head, "When I become conscious next, I will do a reality check." Repeat it as you fall asleep, and do some RCs. I had 2 dreams resulting from it, and one accidental VILD/WILD. The dreams resulting from it: 1. As I entered the dream, I remembered the mantra and realized I was dreaming. I walked along the city street I was on and began to fly. I flew easily. I tried to find my DG by screaming, "Dream Guide, appear!" A street sign with stubby legs appeared. Hopefully it wasn't my DG. I then woke up. 2. A great lucid dream. I was flying over a park. I have no idea how long I flew, but it was a wonderful experience. Here is the VILD I had: I was in my bed in real life. I had just woken up, and it was 6am. I began to drift asleep, and suddenly a picture of my room appeared in front of me. I held on to it, and for a moment it became astonishingly vivid! I tried to keep it. Then, I felt an intense tingling and I fell into a dream. I sat up in bed in the dream and went to the window. There were two boys looking up at me, who were maybe fifteen. One was waving cheerily (my DG?), the others were wielding snowballs. They began throwing them at me. I leapt out the window and floated down, dodging the snowballs. I arrived at a sidewalk, panting. I began to walk, and eventually came to a place that looked like a yard sale. I suddenly began losing the dream, and I began rubbing my hands together and yelling, "Stabilize!" It came back, and suddenly two men began walking towards me. My dad appeared out of nowhere and grabbed my hand, dragging me to a lake. The men disappeared, and I dragged my finger in the lake. The water felt so REAL! My dad began swishing his hand through the water, and suddenly I knew there was a sea monster in there. I yelled, "GET OUT!" He did. Then, my alarm went off.
