As a side note, the dream started out lucid, even though this was a DILD. I remember wondering in the dream how I had become lucid. Oh, and this was the first time I flew well in an LD! Lucid Non-lucid I was in the dining room of my house. I decided to go into the backyard and attempt to fly. First, though, I would get a trinket out of my pocket to "help" me fly. I checked my first pocket. Nothing. I checked my second, and found a fabric pizza. It would have to do. So I went into the backyard and leapt off a tree I had climbed, and, with a shock, I realized I was staying in the air! So, I began moving around, and I zoomed back into the house, back into the dining room, and back into the backyard. I landed and walked through a gate into the front yard. I was about to start walking when my mom caught hold of me and dragged me back inside. I asked if I could go outside. Reluctantly, she let me go. I began to walk, and I came to a street I had never seen before. I jumped off a tree and tried to fly again, but my mom caught me again. It was Easter dinner, and my dad had made oatmeal and couscous with tomato sauce (???). I lost lucidity as I gaped at the food. At that point, I woke up.
So. Here it is. Lucid Non-lucid I was in my room, looking at a shoe. A small leather shoe. It occurred to me that I may be dreaming, so I did a nose RC. At first, it seemed like it wasn't working, but I realized I was not breathing! I ran down the stairs, eager to tell someone I was dreaming. Oddly, my sister was in the kitchen. I shook her and yelled, "I'm dreaming! I'm dreaming!" then ran out into the backyard. There was a swing set there (I don't have one in real life), so I decided to jump off the swing and tried to fly. I swung for a bit, but got sick of it and got off. I then tried to make a cat appear. I closed my eyes, visualized one, and opened my eyes. I saw a bit of the dreamscape, but I was opening my real eyes along with my dream ones. I struggled to keep the dream, but I soon opened my real eyes.
I was being chased and shot at by a woman with a gun. I realized I was dreaming. I didn't want her to be here, obviously, so I tried to make her disappear. No luck. So I turned a corner, and mentally willed her not to be there when I looked back. She wasn't. The next thing I remember is looking at a large map on some virtual reality map computer program, except with no computer. My sister said she wanted to go to a country called "Izzy" on the map (maybe in my next LD I'll find that map again and explore further. It'll be my little teleportation device). I decided to test the map to see if I could, in fact, beam down to Izzy. After all, I was dreaming. I found a "zoom in" button and began to zoom in until I was standing in Izzy. At first I thought I saw a burger joint, but it was just a bench with a neon sign advertising french fries. I was in a library, because there were many shelves of books. I decided to explore further (by the way, this part of the dream looked a lot like a 3d game). I saw a plant in its holder on the ground. I wondered if I should try to fly or something; I didn't want to waste the dream. But it was just as much fun looking around the dreamscape, so I continued my exploration. I walked toward the exit and saw a woman with spiky black hair. I paused, because she looked so real (maybe she was my DG), and told myself to remember the dream. I walked outside. I was in a red-brick, large alley. I could see a city street in the distance, and I began running. To make the dream more vivid, I yelled, "Increase vividness!" and nothing happened. I ditched that idea and looked at the overcast sky. I said, "Clouds, go away! Sun, come out!" or at least tried to. I couldn't open my mouth, so I tried again. This time I could say it, but I felt the dream slipping away; the image was becoming grainy. I closed my eyes and yelled, "Stabilize!" I tried to open them and focused on the dreamscape for a moment, but then my real eyes stretched open.
I had a short dream last night where someone gave me a pill to help me lucid dream (kinda ironic, no?), and I took it. It was supposed to make me sleepy. But the next thing I know, I was so tired I could not stand on my own two feet, and I toppled to the floor. Then, I felt myself paralyzed. I tried to move, but could not. I woke up a bit later, but not before the DC who gave me the pill yelled, "Oh, and it paralyzes you, too!"
I don't remember much of this dream. I remember I was in a car and someone was trying to keep me in it. I didn't know what to do, then suddenly I became lucid. I knew I could go through a solid object, so I reasoned, why not go through the windows? I braced myself, reminded myself that I was only dreaming, and leapt into the window. I went right through it, it was an amazing experience. I landed near a park and ran. I remember the person catching me again and I escaped, but I have no idea how. The next thing I remember is being in front of a convenience store. I decided to do the nose RC to see what it felt like. Trust me, you've never lived till you've breathed through a closed nose. Then I tried to fly, but no luck. I jumped and floated back down. Edit: I went looking for my DG, I just remembered, but I don't remember if I found it or not!!! I WILL lucid dream again tonight and find him/her.

I was playing four-square in the dream. That's weird for me, because I don't even know how to play four-square. I never learned. Somehow I knew I was playing four-square, though. Anyway, I thought to myself, "Oh, right. In my next dream I have to become lucid." Then something clicked and I realized I was dreaming. At that moment, the dream had already been slipping away. I frantically rubbed my hands together, but my dream-hands didn't move, only my real ones did. By now the dream seemed more like a daydream than a dream. I woke up and screamed in frustration.
Woot! Woot! So... the dream... right. I was in a grocery store, being chased by a man. After a while, I realized I was dreaming. I didn't even do a RC. The first thing I did, naturally, was try to fly. I jumped into the air, my head hit the ceiling, and I floated slowly back down. I decided it wasn't a good environment for flying, so I attempted to spin around and teleport that way. I visualized a beach and spun. When I opened my dream eyes, I was still in the grocery store, but the image swum before my eyes and I stumbled around and woke up. Feeling cheated, I attempted to get back into the dream. It worked! I was in a cabin-like place overlooking a cliff. I walked out of the cabin and suddenly, the dream became very vivid! I decided not to fly on the cliff, so I walked into the cabin again and spun. I opened my eyes and looked out the window, and saw a lake-marsh-beach thing. Close enough, I decided, and walked out of the cabin and jumped once... twice... three times... until I was pretty high up. I then flailed my arms and managed to stay in the air for a couple seconds before floating back down. I decided to jump off a swing to fly. I closed my eyes, visualizing a swing set, and opened them. There was a swing set! I started to swing, noticing an old man DC on the other swing, and noticed I wasn't swinging very high. Then, everything went black. I felt my dream eyes open, closed them, and woke up. I attempted another DEILD, but was too awake at that point. Dang.
So I was playing this computer game, Fly Like A Bird (it's a real game), and there was an update. The usual birds you can play as are eagles, crows, pigeons, seagulls, and starlings. They had added three new birds: the Regular Old Seagull, the Regular Old Pigeon, and the demon. I decided to play as the Regular Old Pigeon. It was a pigeon, but it was brown. Then a thing popped up that said they had added wolves to the game that you could fight, and there were 10 baby wolves you had to find (???). It was odd.
I had 3 dreams, one of them evil. Evil Dream: I picked up a card that said, "I got my first lucid dream tonight! Signed, Your friend (I'm not putting her name, but she's a close friend of mine)." I felt vaguely insulted that she should get a lucid dream before me, because I had been trying longer, but I was proud of her and decided to go congratulate her. Oddly, she was in someone's basement. "Good job on the LD," I told her, "what was it like?" She shrugged. "I dunno. It was kind of your average lucid dream, you know?" The dream ended there. HOW DID I NOT BECOME LUCID???? Dream 2: I was looking at a building block, a blue one. I studied it for a long, long time. Odd, huh? Dream 3: The Dead Sea was infested with oil, so for some reason, there was no more salt. To float, people had to float on humpback whales (???). That's it!
GAH. Last night I tried FILD, but my alarm didn't wake me up. Then, I woke up at 5am and tried to FILD, but half-forgot how and gave up. Sighhhhhhh.... So I had 3 non-lucids. One was short, the others were fairly complex. Dream 1: My math teacher has a reputation for being pretty. In this dream, she needed to stay at my house because her roof had fallen in. I knew it was her "evil twin," because she had hawk eyes and WAYYYYYYYYYY too much makeup. I'm talking about bright green eyeshadow ringing the outside of her eyes for three inches. Anyway, I knew it was her evil twin because I saw the REAL her outside my bus window in the dream. I thought she was going to carry out an evil plot on our house or on us. The dream ended there. Dream 2: I was supposed to write a song for Taylor Swift which she would sing to a girl on a Disney Channel show (I don't know her name because I never watched the Disney Channel. Plus, I only heard one Taylor Swift song in my life, only because my friend likes her. So I wonder where this came from?). I procrastinated and didn't write the song that evening, and the last thing I remember was my dad driving me along a dark highway with a sign that said, "Interstate 53." Dream 3: I was at my old school and had forgotten an assignment. That's all I remember. Really. Wish me luck, I'm trying FILD tonight. Again.
I attempted to be lucid last night, but alas, I was not. I did dream, though. My dream was a short one. The first thing I remember from it was finding a very fat centipede under my refrigerator. I named it Penelope, even though I hate centipedes and probably would not take the time to name them. Then, the centipede laid eggs on a picture frame, and I picked it up, and the eggs were so sticky that my hand got stuck. I got really grossed out and began shaking my hand in an effort to get it off. Had I remembered to look for anything out of the ordinary on my hand, I probably would have been lucid by then. Unfortunately not, but I wouldn't have had the chance to because then I woke up. I tried to WILD in the morning at around 7am, but I was too woken up by then. I got into mid-transtition, though. Good for a first time, I guess. I will try a FILD tonight.
