My First Dream Journal Entry: Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

    • Most of the conversations that take place in my dreams aren't always exact but I try remembering to the best of my ability.

    • Usually in my dreams I am not in them. However, I am watching it as if I am in a third person view, kind of like playing Warcraft except with real people and I can't control them (I do not play Warcraft lol) This occurs in my first dream but not my second.

I remember seeing an old lady about the age of sixty sitting down next to a guy around the age of thirty. It seemed as if they lived together (I'm not sure if they were married or not but they were definitely together). The old lady was was waiting for a man to pick them up (I think it was supposed to be her dad). The door bell rang and the lady asks who was at the door. A young man replies, "It's your dad, let's go." She does not recognize the voice and she says "no you are not." The man is now very frustrated and asks the lady, "Well can I still take you to wherever you need to go?" At this point of the dream, I am now in the body of the old lady almost as if I possessed her but I didn't? I don't actually see the body but I know I'm in it because she opens the door for the man and she looks at him but it is me that's looking at him from her eyes... Yes, very strange, I am an old woman. She then stares at him for a good ten seconds before she goes back into the house. She speaks to her loved one and tells him everything that has happened. At this point I am back to third person view. They start arguing and the guy tells her that he did not want to do things like this anymore. I'm not sure what he meant by that but it seemed as if they had some kind of crazy random life that they were trying to forget... Maybe they liked to do crazy things no matter how stupid or scary they would sound. The lady tries very hard to convince her loved one to go with the guy and eventually he does. This is where my dream ends.

I then go into a second dream. This dream kind of made more sense compared to my first one. I walk into school and I see a desk in the entrance. There are two teachers (which I did not recognize at all) who were sitting at the desk. There was a long line of students (and I somehow managed to not see one of their faces) that went up to the desk. At this point I realized that I was taking the SAT (I had taken it in a different school and it had a very similar setup right before we took the test so I am guessing that is where it came from). It was as if I already knew I was taking the test that day in the dream. For some odd reason, I could not hear anybody speaking. I do not know if I was deaf in my dream or I am just unable to recall any conversations. I waited in line for about a minute until I recognized this kid, Evan. He did not go to the same school that I did and I haven't seen him in about 8-9 months. He spoke to the ladies at the desk but I could not make out anything they were saying. He then grabs a test booklet and begins to walk towards the classroom he was assigned to. After about four steps, he opened his test booklet and started reading and writing in it. In my mind I thought "Why is he doing this? He is not allowed to do this." The thing is that I cannot control what I'm thinking in my dreams. It is like there is someone else thinking/moving for me. After about ten seconds he asks a teacher for help. At this point, I thought was fine that he was doing this even though he wasn't allowed to so I couldn't give myself a reality check because I actually thought it was real. He seemed confused as if there was something wrong with the test but I never got to figure out what that was because this is where my dream ended.
