I was in my house with my family, and we were hosting some sort of get-together for different friends and family members because of a previous event that I don't even remember.

Some guy and his cronies were also there. There were multiple people that I've never seen in real life but they all seemed familiar, but I felt like I had never seen that guy and his group before, but I knew that they had been attempting to steal our belongings. Eventually, he was caught and it was pretty easy to stop his group from retaliating since one just gave up and the other one was bribed.

Everyone in the house kept an eye on him to make sure he didn't do anything or go anywhere before the police showed up. While we were waiting I remember having an interaction with him. He seemed liked the type of person who hated life and the brief conversation we had was him mostly ranting.

Then he started heading towards the door. No one seemed to be startled by this, but i jogged up right next to him and opened the door. A "family friend" had shown up and got of their car. It was some old lady in a jogging suit. A small dog, that probably belonged to someone in the house, ran outside and greeted her. I looked over to the guy and he just had his usual grumpy face. Then he tried to walk away and I grabbed his shoulder and said, "Don't do it". He just looked at me for a moment before he walked to the center of the room and pulled out a gun. He aimed it at no one in particular as he looked around. Then his gaze fell on me and I was going to start talking to him in hopes of calming him down but.....my brother walked into my room, which woke me up, and told me he was gonna feed our cat.
