    Murder minded

This was my dream from last night/this morning.

I am at a hotel meeting up with my step mother so I can visit my youngest siblings. Unfortunately my biological father is there who has recently disowned me (in real life due to the fact I dyed my hair). My mother is also somewhere here in the hotel and I am left a note to go to her room which is either room five or six. My father glares down at me from behind his wife's back refusing to address me verbally and though it stings I quickly pass it off. My step mother announces that they will be right back and gathers the kids. I sit there waiting until I hear the elevator behind me ding open. I turn just in time to see them scurry inside in an attempt to leave me behind. They've ditched me.

I have nothing better to do but try to find my mothers room and sleep there for the night. I have no where else to go, but I can't find anyone or any rooms. Just a series of halls and doors. Pain from being shunned burns in my chest until I break down and bawl. There is a crushing sense of loneliness and fear that presses against me. That is until I feel something brush against me. Looking around I find nothing but have a chill up my spine.

I continue to wander until I hear the shouts of my father. I find him look horrified in a corner; face pale as death. There is nothing around him. Without thinking I rush up to him to see if he's alright. He's shaken but brushes me off quickly. That is until my little brother rushes up to me, my two other siblings and step mother in tow. They all are shook up but no one seems to know why.

They allow me to travel with them as we try to find a way out of this hotel. Instead we find ourselves in the basement. The air is so heavy you can feel it pressing against you, weighting you down. There's a hard knot of fear in my stomach and I can tell we're all feeling it. I see something out of the corner of my eyes, a shadow moving against the wall. My father cries out in fear once again but no one sees anything once more. We keep moving but find no exit just an overwhelming feeling of doom. Suddenly a creature rushed out from the corner and throws my father across the room. As it stands still where he once was I can see a twisted form a boy, flesh half rotted away and hallow eyes. There is so much rage pouring off of him that I flinch. My step mother and siblings are cowering in a corner as my father just mumbles on the ground that this cant be real.

The boy-creature screams; "You killed me!" And throws my father against a wall. From there it was like a movie was being played out. A younger version of my father in a hotel room. His movements are jerky as sways. He's very visibly intoxicated. On the bed is a small boy, probably around my littlest brothers age of seven, there is fear in his eyes but he doesn't dare to move. My father stumbles and falls onto the bed next to the boy who cringes but doesn't move. They stay like this for what seems like an eternity. Finally the boy slides off, kneeling down to check on my father.

    "Father?" he whispers.

My father wakes up with a start and grabs the boy by his throat and dragging him onto the bed. There are tears in the boys eyes I watch the scene play out. Watch with every agonizing moment that my father crushed his windpipe and stumbled out of the room. Leaving his lifeless body behind.

There is an overwhelming sense of outrage from me. All my anger pouring out as my vision clears and I see the weeping man on the floor. The ghost boy lunges for him once again but I come in between the two. Flinging the boy off in one direction and protecting my father behind me.

"You are a worthless father, he should have his revenge and end your life now!" I scream back at the cowering form, "But a life for a life doesn't balance out. You should have to live with your sins." The ghost boy is thrashing around me but cannot seem to get near me. Suddenly a dog appears out of nowhere, lifeless and crippled. Words fall out of my mouth though I don't know them. All I know is that i begin to bind the boy to the dog and the dog to my father. They cannot hurt each other physically but forced to be by each others side for the rest my fathers mortal life.
