Thunder Only Happens When It's Raining

[26.02.2012 04:29:45] GerSHAK: in this dream I was already going to uni but still lived at home

[26.02.2012 04:30:32] GerSHAK: but in this dream once a week I went in the car with someone who also went to my town
[26.02.2012 04:30:44] GerSHAK: in real life it's about a one-hour drive
[26.02.2012 04:30:51] GerSHAK: but in the dream it was 2 to 3 hours
[26.02.2012 04:31:17] GerSHAK: and we always stopped halfway
[26.02.2012 04:31:25] GerSHAK: at a family who lived by the highway
[26.02.2012 04:31:28] GerSHAK: to eat dinner with them
[26.02.2012 04:32:03] GerSHAK: the girl with whom I was taking the ride was really pretty and nice
[26.02.2012 04:32:24] GerSHAK: I don't know her in real life
[26.02.2012 04:32:58] GerSHAK: so that's the first part of my dream, me taking a ride home with her in her car, stopping halfway to eat with this family who lived by the highway
[26.02.2012 04:33:06] GerSHAK: I think we had rice and it was sort of dark in the dinner room
[26.02.2012 04:33:39] GerSHAK: the next part is me sitting in a maths lecture (I don't have this as a subject anymore)

[26.02.2012 04:33:53] GerSHAK: we were taking a test
[26.02.2012 04:34:04] GerSHAK: it was the last lecture before the holidays but already past exam week
[26.02.2012 04:34:16] GerSHAK: and I didn't know we were going to take a test
[26.02.2012 04:34:41] GerSHAK: it was one of the last two lectures in the semester (at that point in the dream, but the other lecture never happened)
[26.02.2012 04:35:08] GerSHAK: someone was sitting beside me
[26.02.2012 04:35:13] GerSHAK: and I told them I didn't know anything
[26.02.2012 04:35:23] GerSHAK: and they were like "wow, courageous of you to take the test then!"
[26.02.2012 04:35:33] GerSHAK: I didn't tell them that I didn't know we had a test and they laughed at me
[26.02.2012 04:35:43] GerSHAK: so I took the test
[26.02.2012 04:36:05] GerSHAK: and I was the last person to leave the hall
[26.02.2012 04:36:42] GerSHAK: actually I now recall that the maths professor was actually my maths teacher from my last few years of school
[26.02.2012 04:37:10] GerSHAK: then I was looking for the person with who I usually took the ride home
[26.02.2012 04:37:17] GerSHAK: walking around the parking lot
[26.02.2012 04:37:20] GerSHAK: but she had already gone
[26.02.2012 04:37:34] GerSHAK: and there was only one more train I could catch
[26.02.2012 04:37:41] GerSHAK: so I went to the bus station
[26.02.2012 04:38:09] GerSHAK: I can't recall the next part clearly but I think when the bus arrived, I asked the driver a question and for some reason the answer made me not get on the bus
[26.02.2012 04:38:29] GerSHAK: then I crossed the road, to the bus station on the other side
[26.02.2012 04:38:44] GerSHAK: I think some other bus came and I got on
[26.02.2012 04:38:52] GerSHAK: hmm or not
[26.02.2012 04:38:58] GerSHAK: anyway I phoned my mom
[26.02.2012 04:40:12] GerSHAK: saying that there was only one last train going home and that it was uncertain that I was going to catch it, and that if she didn't ride here to fetch me, I'd only be home the next day, insinuating that I'd have to sleep in the cold at the train station if I missed the train
[26.02.2012 04:40:28] GerSHAK: in reality I didn't want to take the train for some reason (althought it WAS unlikely that I'd catch it)
[26.02.2012 04:40:43] GerSHAK: and I sort of talked to my mom angry to make her feel guilty and come fetch me
[26.02.2012 04:40:46] GerSHAK: which in turn made me feel guilty
[26.02.2012 04:41:27] GerSHAK: I don't recall exactly how we get from here to the next part of the dream
[26.02.2012 04:41:54] GerSHAK: In that part, I was on a trip with my school class and our teacher, although we were all already 18-ish
[26.02.2012 04:42:01] GerSHAK: and we were somewhere really really far away
[26.02.2012 04:42:10] GerSHAK: and it was really really beautiful there
[26.02.2012 04:42:27] GerSHAK: we were actually on a canoe trip
[26.02.2012 04:43:00] GerSHAK: I recall it from a part where I looked behind at an enormous waterfall from where we had come
[26.02.2012 04:43:08] GerSHAK: and there were mountains around us
[26.02.2012 04:43:26] GerSHAK: I had a camera with me but the quality of the pictures was as horrible as that of my webcam
[26.02.2012 04:43:38] GerSHAK: I still took dozens of pictures because everything was so breathtakingly beautiful
[26.02.2012 04:43:56] GerSHAK: at one point we got out of the canoe
[26.02.2012 04:44:08] GerSHAK: and there was some kind of dam
[26.02.2012 04:44:15] GerSHAK: but I and a few others didn't realize it was a dam
[26.02.2012 04:44:39] GerSHAK: it was just a really narrow way where you could walk next to a huge cliff
[26.02.2012 04:44:50] GerSHAK: so I and one or two other guys ran across it
[26.02.2012 04:45:10] GerSHAK: seconds later, the fucking thing opened and the entire water from the river poured out into the valley deep below
[26.02.2012 04:45:22] GerSHAK: and we were sort of really shocked because we could have died if we had done that a few seconds later
[26.02.2012 04:45:44] GerSHAK: then, music played somewhere
[26.02.2012 04:45:48] GerSHAK: America - You Can Do Magic
[26.02.2012 04:45:53] GerSHAK: I sang along to it
[26.02.2012 04:46:05] GerSHAK: I didn't catch the highest note very well
[26.02.2012 04:46:21] GerSHAK: And contemplated in my mind about how the highest note is a g-flat (it really is in real life!)
[26.02.2012 04:46:30] GerSHAK: and that on good days I sometimes catch a g but normally I only get to the f
[26.02.2012 04:46:36] GerSHAK: so I wasn't surprised but annoyed
[26.02.2012 04:46:49] GerSHAK: then I could sort of choose to have another America song from the same album playing
[26.02.2012 04:46:56] GerSHAK: and I didn't know that song
[26.02.2012 04:47:05] GerSHAK: and then we were in some huuuuuuuuuuge building
[26.02.2012 04:47:27] GerSHAK: it was sort of like Disneyland, the place where the building stood
[26.02.2012 04:47:37] GerSHAK: like it belonged to some sort of theme park
[26.02.2012 04:47:52] GerSHAK: not the building and the small town itself, that was a small town in front of the theme park
[26.02.2012 04:48:01] GerSHAK: and it was sort of like this insanely huge merchandise store
[26.02.2012 04:48:08] GerSHAK: and everyone got a number for a room
[26.02.2012 04:48:26] GerSHAK: and in my room, there would be a free CD of the America album
[26.02.2012 04:48:33] GerSHAK: I actually heard one more track from the album
[26.02.2012 04:48:41] GerSHAK: It was really beautiful but it doesn't exist in real life
[26.02.2012 04:48:55] GerSHAK: but I was sort of in a hurry because I recalled that I had to catch the train home
[26.02.2012 04:49:14] GerSHAK: although like, 30 hours had passed I had still not missed it and it was still evening
[26.02.2012 04:49:18] GerSHAK: so I hurried to find the room
[26.02.2012 04:49:22] GerSHAK: but didn't find it
[26.02.2012 04:49:28] GerSHAK: that took me 10 minutes
[26.02.2012 04:49:40] GerSHAK: then I got past some place that made me understand where I would find the room
[26.02.2012 04:49:54] GerSHAK: and I was really torn between going to the room or going outside to find the train station
[26.02.2012 04:50:10] GerSHAK: and that annoyed me greatly because I was almost sure that finding the room would make me miss the train
[26.02.2012 04:50:17] GerSHAK: but I went outside to find the train station
[26.02.2012 04:50:20] GerSHAK: then I woke up.
