    Adventure to Lucidity

My goal with this journal is to become skilled at dream recall. The eventual goal I have in mind is to be able to have 3 or more lucid dreams a night. I'm still exploring what all is possible in a lucid dream, but I have real goals and things I'd like to accomplish in these lucid dreams. They all revolve around making me better, and growing myself as a person and human being. So welcome to the ride and adventure. If you're reading my DJ entries, then thank you! Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think!

So all I can remember was my dad trying to get me to go to Illinois with him. There are some more things on the edge of my mind but I can’t pull them out. My dad asks me if I want to go with him, says he will buy me a steak as well. I say sure and we leave almost immediately. We get to the restaurant and it’s closed, so we drive a little ways down the road to somewhere else. Lots of kids and moms are running around this place, and it’s super packed. All I remember.

So I just remembered my dream in a flash. It’s been about 20 minutes since I woke up. But I remember the main part of it all of a sudden. So apparently I was in some kind of accident, but so was another guy. I can’t remember his name. However, I woke up in his body. To me it seemed like I was still me. When I talked, I thought I sounded like myself, but everyone else knew that it wasn’t my body. I had inherited someone else’s, I can’t remember why or how I came to be in that body, but it involved the hospital and surgery of some kind. My biggest recollection from the dream was hanging out with a couple friends that were just random people I don’t know and meeting the father of the body I now inhabited. It was awkward, but he also understood that I was not really his son. I met his mom as well and oddly she asked me to sing. Apparently, my new body was a great singer. Courtney was also there. Helping me meet and deal with new people. Pretty cool, but the sad thing was that I never really got to know who exactly I was in and what happened to him before I woke up.

So this one was pretty vivid. Lots of people, and hustle and bustle going on in an airport. I remember it being around the beach and the colors were bright and happy. It started out with some kind of nerdy competition I was involved with. Sadly I can’t recall what it was. We were getting on the plane, and apparently this airport has an interesting feature, the elevator likes to freak you out. Me and another random person I don’t know got on after everyone else and were by ourselves. It went up, then shuddered and flew down like a rocket. Stopped and opened at the basement. I guess we shouldn’t have gotten off, because we got lost and then didn’t make it to our flight. Wasn’t our fault, obviously. Anyway, I remember this place being next to the beach. It was really nice, blue water. People were lounging around the gate playing on laptops and reading, laughing with each other.

Then it made a transition into a house, some of these competitive nerdy people lived, and I was staying there. I started playing something and I heard water kick on. Dirty, muddy water spat out of drains then I noticed the way the floors were designed. They had squares that sunk into the floors via small steps in each bathroom or kitchen. Any where there was tile. They were filled with water from the drains, but they were crystal clear. I remember feeling the water, how cool it was. I check to see how deep it was and realized I could clean it up. I went to a closet and started getting mops, other people showed up to help with a water vac, and I woke up.
