Adventure to Lucidity

My first recollections start I think somewhere in the middle of the night. The dream is fuzzy, but it involves my work. All I can connect it too mostly is training for the position, which is a week long ordeal. But it quickly transitions into a chase scene and then finally into a science fiction style dream. I was the one chasing the criminal at first. I believe he may have stole some type of weapon. Eventually, I have caught him, and he resembles a male version of an Asari (from Mass Effect). Once caught he actually helps us detect when alien, and enemy space ships enter our atmosphere so we can prepare for an attack. The dream has started after a rather large and devastating attack. His psychic powers act as a front line of defense.
