Fragment of Dreams
Date: 29/March/2019 Lucid dream: My mom first asks me if I want to keep or change my math scores, which of course doesn't make sense. I just did a math test in real life, but in the dream she just asks "Should we keep the scores or change them with another test?" I think she may have been asking me if I was hoping to score higher on the next test. Then, my mom asks me and Rishi if we want to get frozen yogurt, and we say we do. We go to Sodhi uncle's house and I'm very tired and I am swaying from side to side. My mom explains that I'm only tired like this in dreams, not in real life. I then proceed to think "dreams... only tired in dreams? Wait, am I dreaming?" I pinch my nose and breathe out and find out I am. I am then taken to my bed where I'm lying down, and I do another reality check, I'm still dreaming. I look on the roof and see weird glowing branch things. I want to get up physically and go somewhere, but I am way too tired, I just want to lie down. Anyways, I force myself up from my bed and I do a reality check and now I'm in real life. Nonlucid dream 1: I dream that I'm in the office for Hale Education, and Mr Thurston wants to talk to me. He is asking me if I stole some sort of mushroom plant. My dream alternates between me being at the mushroom plant thing and in his office. I start calculating the area of the spread of the mushroom plant as well. Nonlucid dream 2: I dream that I'm fighting the Guardian Ape in Sekiro and I'm doing drop attacks on it to fight it, which you obviously can't do. It's lowering its health really quickly. Dream Fragment: My dad wanted to get my phone a new screen protector
March/19/2019 We were at some place playing some game or something, I think it was tennis. I don't remember most of it. Next, we're on a bus, leaving. I'm trying to find someone to sit next to. I try to sit next to several people, but they tell me the seat is reserved for someone else. Finally, I sit next to James, but he won't let me sit there, he's saying "my bag is here etc."
Date: January 2018 I dream that I am a child sitting on the floor of the area between the kitchen and the table in my grandma's house in Bangalore, India. There is a phenomenal sense of comfort, warmth, and happiness. NOTE: The sense of comfort, warmth, and happiness which I felt in this dream was so powerful I spent several days after the dream depressed that I could not relive those memories nor feel those emotions as vividly as in the dream.
Date: 2018 Yet another set of dreams where I can hardly remember the date. I feel as if this may have been a recurring dream or something similar, in a theme park. Therefore, I will talk about the multiple dreams I have had through 2018 which all take place in what is assumedly the same theme park. This is chronologically the first. I think I went to the part of the park named Epcot, which is weird because it wasn’t disney. The park was probably in India. We first went to the haunted part of the park, in which I went in a walk-through haunted house. At one point in the haunted house, everything is white, in a hallway. There is a small trough in the hallway, in which I am stuck, and a figure in white (similar to the Spazm halloween prop marketed on the internet) approaches me and begins to scream. I feel a sense of terror. A repetition of the first dream, or at least a reference to me being stuck in the trough of white powder with the haunting figure. I am not sure whether this is part of the dream with the haunted house, or if it’s part of another dream, but I also remember there being a ghost train. I felt a strong sense of happiness and comfort while riding this dark ride, not finding it scary in the slightest bit. It was structured like a standard ghost train, alternating between the outside and the inside, and the inside, while horror-oriented, was still amazingly comforting for me. 3. This dream takes place in assumedly the same theme park, I’m not sure, but it’s a different dark ride. I ride it with my mother and probably my brother (I can’t remember). Inside the dark ride, which is eerie yet still slightly cozy (as opposed to terrifying and nightmarish like the haunted house). All I can remember now, several months after the dream, is that there was an elephant in one room, which looked like an antique - it was an animatronic - and that I either had a sense of deja vu in the dream or I had another dream which was similar.
Date: February 2019 I can not remember the specific day in which this happened, nor can I remember more of the dream than a fragment. My mother was angry at me because of something, and she references my similar behavior in context of the “tiger on the mountain.” The dream then cuts to the top of a mountain, in which a juvenile tiger is scratching the air and trying to intimidate us. The scene is overwhelming, and I promptly wake up.
Date: March/3/2019 Info: I didn't remember my dream when waking up, it just came to me slowly when I was taking a shower and getting ready slowly. The first "dream" I had was more or less just a weird image I had in my brain while falling asleep. It was the scene from Phantom Menace where Jar-Jar Binks is trying to enter the water on that planet where he's with the Jedi. A sea creature jumps up from the planet and grabs him by the neck. I tried to do a FILD while falling asleep but it didn't work, obviously, as I guess I wasn't in REM. I woke up at 2am to try FILD but it still didn't work because I was too excited and couldn't fall asleep. The next dream was basically a repetition of something that happened in real life. My physics teacher was explaining constructive and destructive interference with his paper waves in my physics class. I look to my left and I see my friend, who has the girl he sits next to talking to him. Like always, he is trying to ignore her and she is talking to him about random stuff which has absolutely nothing to do with physics.
Date: The summer of 2014 This is a dream fragment I have dating back to around 2014, which I wrote about in my physical dream journal which I've now lost. It simply consists of there being a large house structure in a field, similar to the house in the Peter Jackson movie Bad Taste. It is night, and there is a huge orange orb in the backyard which I nickname the "annoying orange." I do not eat the orb, however it is presented as a tender and soft, sweet, food. My history teacher (the female one) is present upstairs and I meet her. It shares similarities with dreams I have had about The Global Village, a local festival park.

Date: March/2/12019 This night I had four dreams, but unfortunately none of them were lucid. I do not remember the exact order but I woke up in the middle of the night to try a finger induced lucid dream, which didn't work because I wasn't able to allow myself to fall asleep. I will try again tonight, I sleep at 10pm and must wake up at 5am so I will set the alarm for 2am. The first dream I had was Vietnam-related. I dreamed that I was in some hotel but I was with my parents, not my schoolmates and teachers in this dream. We are walking for a while and all of a sudden I come across a friend from school, let's nickname him Narwhal, who has a pot full of noodles (not pot noodles, just a pot of noodles). We started eating, but that's all I remember. I also remember trying to find the villa we were staying at in the hotel, it was villa number 20 and I remember that clearly. There was a villa 22 and 24 on either end, which of course makes no sense looking back on it - an increment of two, and it wasn't even in order?! This was around the time I woke up in real life to FILD, but I couldn't fall asleep so it didn't work. I'm so close to being able to do it, I'm sure I'll do it one of these nights! I thwarted my own attempt day before yesterday night which was quite unforgiveable but it shows that it's replicable. Then, I had a false awakening. My false awakening was quite bizarre. In western families, sharing beds with family members might be viewed as weird, however for the less economically fortunate it's more than normal. Usually I use a different blanket or so but when family members are staying over, my father and I must share a bed. I now often sleep on the couch or something instead. This has lead to me ending up sleeping in my dad's bed virtually always whenever he's in a foreign country because his AirCon is so, so, so much better than mine is. In this dream, I woke up and went to my dad's room. He had a packet of those dried Italian sausage things which are absolutely delicious, but this one was kind of three times overfilled for some reason. I then went to sleep in his bed (I cannot remember whether or not he was in the room, but he was not in the bed), and then woke up a few minutes later to find myself in my own bed. A false awakening. My penultimate dream occurred in my 7th grade teacher's math class, where I was hearing about how a student in the year higher than me was jumped several times and beaten up severely. I find that math teacher to be one of the friendliest teachers I've ever studied under, so I felt a sense of gratitude toward her in this dream, which contrasts with my current math teacher - whom I absolutely despise and view as an unaccomplished, incomplete, addictive, unsympathetic fool. How I wish Half-Life 3 existed... it's strange how dreams pull desires from your brain that you don't even recall having, isn't it? My dream featured me playing HL3 as Gordon Freeman, but I was shocked to find that instead of strafing, the A and D buttons caused the character's physical displacement to stay the same, while his body leaned from left to right. This issue was very annoying and I could not amend it. I then dreamed that I tried to switch the game mode to a target practice mode, similar to what's present in TF2. In the dream, Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance were present, and I think I even remember Eli Vance - which makes no sense considering how he dies at the end of HL2 - Episode 2. As a final dream fragment, I distinctively remember eating Haribo gummy cherries at some point in my dream. Hopefully, I can have more dreams this night or during my evening nap and maybe even induce lucidity.
Date: March/1/2019 I do not know if my FILD attempt this morning was before or after the dream. My FILD attempt was thwarted by the fact that I was falling off the bed while I tried it, so I woke up and got into a better sleeping position. I didn't really want to continue though. I went to the bathroom etc and cleaned out my mouth and returned, but by then I didn't want to try FILD because I wasn't able to fall back asleep. While I was trying initially, I could hear Elephant by Tame Impala playing in the background. I just woke up at that point and went on my PC. My dream was simple; I dreamed I was playing Dark Souls and the game was buggy as I had graphical textures loaded, and was playing the Daughters of Ash mod as well. That's all I remember, I was down in the part of the Undead Parish with the Titanite Demon I think, or perhaps Darkroot Garden.
