    Mortem Avian

I find myself in a dark forest and it is night. The sky above is purplish in hue and clear, filled with a multitude of stars. My way is confused for a moment, until I stumble upon a straight dirt path. I begin to follow it silently for some time, although I float just above it in the air. In time I find myself stopping, and behold there were three beasts before me. Two massive lions and a lean and powerful wolf. The lions were enemy to the wolf as it seemed, but both forces had united under a similar cause now. They pursued me in the darkness and I ran upon the thin air above the ground, as though a bridge of glass had suspended me there. The panic and fear overwhelms me and the woods grow thicker and thicker until a sudden thinning.

My pursuers flee as dawn arrives and I am led into a green pasture whose centermost point is a plate of stone. Upon the stone is a large boar, strong and foreboding. It was brown and had eyes like living embers. And behold, a small yet frightening bird descended from the air. It was like that of a vulture but far smaller and appeared weak in form. Yet it still maintained a certain ominous aura, like death or the sickest parts of evil. The bird fell upon the back of boar and with its talons it snatches the boar up and with unnatural, unbelievable strength, lifts it up into the air. To my astonishment the small bird raises the massive boar high above and then drops it. The boar strikes stone and is severely injured. The bird repeatedly does this until finally the boar dies and a crowd of people had encompassed the event, and stood in bewilderment and shock. My family was among the multitude and expressed the same emotions.

I felt no remorse for the boar, but fear for the bird, which had then flown away. I was then lifted into the air by an unseen force, and taken up into the sky. Through a great flight I was taken to the house I grew up in and placed inside. There I began to consume a cornucopia of random food by the masses, feeling as though starved. I found upon the walls of the house many paintings and symbols which reminded me of my romantic interest in the real world. When the food was all gone, I searched and found no more. There I sat for what seemed like a millenia and finally there came awakening.
