Exploring My Imagination

I had another really vivid dream! It wasn't lucid but it's a good sign- my dream recall is getting better . I have noticed that in a lot of my dreams the whole thing took place at night and the sky is a kind of dark orangy-red color. Here's my dream:

It took place at my school- I am with two of my good friends and we were on our way to science class. As we are leaving we hear the bell and realize that we are late. We decided to take an alternative route and somehow I ended up on the fourth floor (my school has three floors). My teacher has some sort of secret room there and I walk in and take a seat (I don't know where my other two friends went, but they are gone). There are a bunch of upper classmen and a couple of other girls that I know in my grade- one I am friends with and one I don't really talk to much. The details are pretty fuzzy after I sit down but I can recall my science teacher turning on some music. People start arguing back and forth to each other, debating which movie theatre the music comes from. Apparently it came from the IMAX theatre. My dream then skips to a new scene where I am sitting in the IMAX theatre and the music that was in my science teacher's room is playing from the theatre speakers. As the movie begins wind starts to blow and sand that was on the walls gets blown away (?). Some random kid that I was sitting next to begins to tell me that the sand is a kind of special thing because some little boy had noticed it before. Soon after he saw the sand his parents passed away- I'm not exactly sure how any of that was relevant. I then wake up because my mom is leaning over my bed looking for the cat

I had a second dream where a friend of mine, who I usually give a ride to school, calls my house. I can hear my mom talking to her on the phone downstairs. I then received a text from her saying she is sick and won't be going to school. I text back "feel better!" and that's all I can remember.
