I visited an area with a sandy shore of a shallow river and thickets. The tide had receded enough to form half of a sandbar across to the other side. The sky was a beautiful grey. I wanted to know where this was so that I could locate it again in the future. I was there with my mother and there were quite a few interesting people there. It seemed that they understood the true meaning of this place, and I didn't but wanted to understand. Seagulls rose up from the other side of the shore and began to fly over, and I took my cell phone camera out and try to snap a picture, but I both had difficulty with the interface and also found that the picture was shaking up and down every once in a while, to the point that I couldn't get any good pictures. The seagulls arrived and one began to bother my mother. As a method of dealing with it, at one point, I cut myself and let the blood flow, but sealed into into a clear plastic baggie and put it away into a larger bag that I carried in my hand. A somewhat creepy man came up and proposed trading information for my blood--apparently my blood qualified as a kind of currency according to the rules of this place. I somehow sensed that it was something really precious and that I couldn't possibly let someone else have it, so I refused and attempted to walk away with my mother. The man pursued me a short ways and continued talking to me, again letting the conversation move in the direction of what I didn't know and then proposing an explanation in exchange for the blood, but I again refused.

Someone walked into the wide north entrance of the princess's chamber. Someone, a young man I believe, was lying there dead. They stopped in shock, and then the scenery rewound and switched to the dead person's perspective to show the circumstances that had led to their death. That person was, I believe, the young man. While I can't recall the details well at all probably due to the fragmented nature of the narrative, the scene of how he came to die ended up stopped when he entered a bathroom and found a young girl, his sister, resting peacefully yet clearly dead in the shower area. Now the scenery again rewound to her perspective. It turned out that she was a princess who was loved by her mother. However, due to some trivial issue that somehow drove some others to an extreme emotion, girls around her age who were her attendants, along with some adults who were also her attendants but who did not side with her somehow, became enraged at her and put her hands and feet in manacles with chains locked into the floor, then took turns shoving her around at each other and into the wall, not allowing her to sleep and causing her pain and severe stress from her struggle to prevent severe injury. At one point, she risked calling out to her mother for help, and her mother even happened to hear her, but it was so quiet that she thought it could very well have been her imagination, and took her time walking over to the princess's chamber, during which time the attendants removed the chains from the floor and locked the princess into her bathroom. When her mother the queen arrived, the attendants played dumb about the princess's screams. When the queen asked if she could see her anyway having come all the way to this section of the palace, they said that the girl accidentally wet herself in excitement or something inane like that, which the queen who doted too much on her daughter's past immaturity accepted, and left. It might be that from that point on, she never left the bathroom, but her condition gradually worsened for some unusual reason, perhaps a magical affliction or perhaps a lack of some medicine, and she died. She had only just died when her brother returned to her side, however. Also, it appears I didn't mention in detail the brother's past, so I'll do so now. He was out in the world trying to address some mysterious circumstances, although he wanted to return home soon. While his sister had a beautiful dress and long, straight light brown hair, I believe he had short brown hair and more casual yet practical and well-appearing attire. During his time out, he at least communicated once over the internet with a strange girl who seemed to know a lot about what was really going on and had a lot of personality, appearing to be some kind of magician or hacker or both. She had mid-length dark red hair. Also, at some point, either the brother or the princess had communicated with a fourth party, a young man with short blue hair and a serious attitude who was a very good fighter. Actually, I think that he had briefly crossed fists with the other young man. In any case, for some reason, that brother had become collapsed and apparently dead near the south entrance to the princess's chamber. But he recovered shortly after and headed into the bathroom where he found his sister dead. Shortly before that, however, he ran into the red-haired young woman and blue-haired young man, both who seemed roughly the same type--rogues who used magic. It seemed they had arrived on some business that connected to the circumstances of the palace. They had a brief exchange, but then the brother entered the bathroom and found his sister dead. However, when he went to hold her, she somehow woke up.
