Had a really long, vivid dream. There were some parts where I was actually getting pretty scared / emotional about it. Looking back on it, the plot was silly.

I was driving home and decided to stop by a friend's house. He wasn't home and I had to pick up my golf clubs and I knew where the key would be. I went inside the house, got my stuff, but decided to take a quick nap. I went to his room and slept in his bed for a while. I heard the front door open and his mom walked in so tried really hard to get out of the bed and get out of the house, but my body just wouldn't move. She found me and got really upset. My friend walked in and got upset too. I was apologizing profusely, and my friend kind of accepted the apology. The mom accepted the apology but said something along the lines of "don't expect my husband to be as lenient". I booked it out of the house and drove home.

Dream seemed a lot longer than the plot line, but a lot of the time I was waiting in suspense for the mom to come or I was trying to get my body to move out of the bed.

Three different dreams last night, but I can really only remember fragments of them.

In the first dream, I was trying to make a song on my computer with a friend but we couldn't find our MIDI / we'd lose our focus pretty quickly. A lot of time was spent in a car.

The second dream confused the shit out of me. Like, I can't even explain what happened. There were explosions, some one mentoring me on gaining extra body parts, and trying to increase the area of an underwater area by spinning around with my arms extended. There was this one part where I dreamt that my room used to be 10x smaller than it really it and that it's current size was the result of me exploding out some walls.

The third dream was pretty much a montage of me running through different ecosystems (desert, tundra, rainforest, etc.).

I had a False Awakening last night. All I can remember before the FA was that I was in a car, looking through the window of another car directly at a woman. I said to her (like I knew it the whole dream), "I am really dreaming."

I felt a surge of excitement and had my FA, except I was lying on my stomach with my feet at the headboard where my head was supposed to be. I didn't realize I was in a dream. My body jumped up because of the excitement but I thought I should try to do a DEILD by laying down and thinking of the dream again. It didn't work. I went to another dream (which I can't recall well, something about a three story mall) and slept the rest of the night.

I have a tendency to sleepwalk, so maybe it really wasn't a false awakening and I did change my position during the night.

Can't remember much besides the fact that I was on a giant chessboard. It was made of marble and each square was probably about 1 m^2.

Pretty long dream last night (or series of dreams).

First I can remember wanting to take a road trip to Austin with my mom and sister. We took two separate cars and I was in the lead car. I was driving pretty fast and I was sure they got lost. I got on a highway that was in a valley and started weaving in and out of traffic. There was an area on the highway where I was supposed to keep left to avoid an exit (which was 4 lanes wide) but I ended up staying left and exited into this huge building with an underground garage. I wanted to find the route back to the highway but it was blocked off by some big metal doors so I spent the night in the building which turned out to be a hotel.

My sister and mom's car caught up with me pretty soon after, and I overheard my sister asking if some friends could come over to the hotel. My mom said no, my sister got mad, then my mom vanished and my sister thought that was pretty convenient so she invited her friends anyway. The hotel room we were staying at was very large except the bathroom, which had a shower that had a faucet about half the height it was supposed to be at and shower walls about as high as the waist. The walls of the hotel room were about three feet high but there was no ceiling, so pretty much there was just a black void where the ceiling should be. I could see outside of our hotel room and it seemed like we were just floating in this void.

I was in the shower when my sister's friends came (about three of them) and since the shower walls were waist high and the room walls weren't much higher, they could see I was in the shower. I said 'Hi' and they said they wanted a shower too. My sister told us about a locker room down the hall with showers and walls that were actually the right size, so we went through a doorframe and the void turned into a hallway with a yellowish glow in the lighting. We went into the locker rooms and the three friends got into the showers which only had a shower curtain. I got into a shower as well.

After a few minutes they started calling my name so I looked out and their shower curtains were open. I told them to close the curtains because I was, quote, "tired of all [your] fucking bullshit" but they ignored me and starting climbing onto each other (literally, one person would stand on the others shoulders so there). I had no idea what to do so I just walked out of the shower into my hotel room and woke up from the dream.

Pretty weird but very vivid.
