Matutinalbliss

Last night seemed like 2 separate dreams. I've been having a hard time remembering what order things occur in. However, all the images and events are very clear individually. I'll try to put things in order as best I can.
Fragment:
I walked down the hall in my dream house to the bathroom where my mom was drying her hair. I picked up a second hair dryer and started drying my own. Miraculously, my hair was short, straight, and sexy as hell! (In RL I have a bushy afro.)

Dream:
In the beginning, there was a flash flood. Looking out the kitchen door, the water seemed to flow uphill, which i knew in the dream was in contradiction to my real house. I walked to another side of the house and watched the water roll down the hill out from a pine grove and crash into the house gently like waves. When the water cleared, people started showing up at the house and I had no clue why. The only two faces that I remember distinctly out of the 100 or so that ended up in the dream were my mother's and that of a guy named Julian, who i hardly know. People kept showing up and it turned into a party. This change didn't occur smoothly. The dream seemed to skip around and my dream house's interior completely changed (to all wood. It was quite nice, actually.) By the time the dream was solid again, everybody was totally smashed. I went upstairs to my dream-sister's room. (I call her that because she neither looked like nor had anything to do with my RL sister.) There were about 4 or 5 kids sleeping up there. I was looking for something but I didn't know what so I felt stupid for even being in my sister's room. I remember vividly seeing while searching, a magic 8-ball still in the package, and a stack of Nintendo DS games including some versions of Pokemon that don't exist (yet? Maybe I foresaw the future of Pokemon?!? 0.o) I don't remember anything after that and I don't remember where or how the dream ended.

Ok so I thought that today would be a great day to start my dream journal because I had a really unique experience last night. I've been putting this off for like weeks so i'll be adding a couple dreams i wrote down after this too. I've waited all day so I can't remember all of the dream but before bed, we got a call from a family friend who is a self-proclaimed psychic. She said that my grandfather that she never knew personally, (and who died 2 weeks ago) had been bugging her for 4 days. She asked a lot of questions and said a lot of things but what's important is that she told me i'd be getting a visit from him in a dream. Lo and behold, it happened. I remember thinking i had woken up (on the top bunk which is contradictory; would have been a great time for RC. Oh well.){Is there a word for falsely waking? can't remember} and seeing a piece of paper taped to the ceiling. It had a poem on it in grandpa's handwriting and on the back it had a small personal note signed by him. During the dream I could vividly make out the writing but I have since forgotten it. This is funny because I had sort of told my grandpa (spoken out loud to the air) that I didn't really wanna see him personally in a dream because it would freak me out. He was always so considerate...
