    1. The Crippling Presence of Pure Evil.

I am looking for this dream to be interpreted in this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-inte...ml#post2194988

I have twice dreamed of a feeling and a presence so terrifying it brings tears of fear to my eyes to think of it as I write about it, the second time just a few weeks ago.

The first experience was years ago when I was with an ex boyfriend who upset me often for various reasons. In the dream we were together at night on a beach where there were many dilapidated, wind and salt-tossed buildings and ships pulled up onto the shore. It had a feeling of decay, and at the time I had a mild excitement for adventure, I was interesting in seeing the place. As we walked together it felt very surreal in itself. Suddenly my attention was diverted from our wandering and I let my boyfriend walk off ahead. A large square wooden building loomed over me, its walls two stories tall and very pale in the moonlight. It was held up on rickety beams with it's floor half my height above the sand, with an old half-broken staircase leading up to a solid door. I walked up, and opened the door and took one step inside.

There was pitch darkness inside, as dark as eternity, as a starless night sky, dimensionless, powerful. I felt a wave of some sinister presence, I was frozen, my mouth was dry, I couldn't move or scream though I tried. Terror filled my every being and I was powerless. The feeling grew and grew until I was sure it would tear me apart and something would seize me from within the darkness, or perhaps make me a part of it. This feeling was so strong I awoke and sat up sweating and panting in the cold night air.

This was a unique feeling, the second experience is very different, except for the overwhelming terror and the feeling of a presence, and in a way even more random.

Second dream: My dream changed from something monotonous to a new setting rather suddenly. I stood in a forest. There were tall enormous birch-like trees that were far apart from each other so the forest was very large and spacious, but somehow completely empty of life. Everything seemed sepia and the floor was covered with fallen leaves and few bushes. It was a very brown and dry sort of place, and I was wandering without purpose through it. I was curious once more, and I saw something ahead that I followed. It looked to be the ruins of a small cottage, and I walked around it's brown vine-covered stones and observed it. All the exterior of the building had fallen, leaving one room with three walls, and a single old rickety bench. One skeletal window let a little light into the shady part of the building, and I stood there within the shade of the three walls for a minute feeling peaceful and a little bit lonely. At the time my perception was not in myself, I watched myself like a camera as I explored. I wore a very plain brown dress. Suddenly my vision changed focus once more. I seemed to be a part of something moving outside, something watching the house. I heard it, and my vision came back to myself. I felt rather nervous, and I went outside. There was an old reddish wheel barrel standing with some sticks and leaves in it. I approached it, and as I did something flickered in the corner of my eye. When I looked I saw what I can only describe as a small shadow, a patch of darkness. It flickered in and out of vision in a split second, appearing in five different places each closer then the last, and in a few seconds, though I couldn't track it's movement, it was on me.

A tingling sensation filled my body. It was the first time I dreamed of pain. I have never dreamed of pain before, even when I sustain massive injuries. But suddenly I was struck half blind, I fell over like I was poleaxed. My vision was blurry, everything swirled and I felt a pain like every cramp I'd ever felt piled into my torso. It quivered and shook and kept me from breathing, I felt like my body would tremble in half. I wanted to throw up, I wanted to die, and I was filled with the evil presence once again. I couldn't do anything, it seemed to last an eternity. I tried to move my mouth but only made pathetic noises like 'mm-meh-eh-eh-eh... hmmmm-hheelll-el-....p-p-p...' trying to scream for help and just stuttering and spluttering. My lips were numb and my whole mouth was weak like the rest of me. I wasn't paralyzed like before, but I was completely weak to the point I could just shake in reaction. I remember feeling so terrified, thoughts racing in my head like "Why is this happening? Who are you, why are you doing this? Release me, please release me!" Begging and screaming in the chamber of my head. And then I woke up, panting and sweating, my stomach still twisting in knots. It went away just a few moments after I awoke, but I felt the pain for real. It wasn't digestive, it was purely mental. A feeling brought on by the dream, because afterwords I felt perfectly fine for all the other hours I laid awake.

What is this horrible terror that seems to beckon me, or attack me, and seize me in a bind so complete I'm sure even in my dream that I will be destroyed? It's worse then any feeling I've ever felt, and I'm always completely positive I am experiencing the hand of pure evil. I think if I were not to wake up, it might shatter my soul...
