Three words: Giant freaking ants. This is probably the earliest or the second earliest dream that I remember. They were fire ants about as big as a person. They crawled in and out of holes in the corners of the ceiling, as well as around the edges of the ceiling. It was the ultimate nightmare for me at around the age of five, and since then, giant bugs have sprung up in several of my dreams.
