First Successful (?) DEILD

So, to preface, I tend to naturally wake up after four hours of sleep when I initially go to bed and in two hour increments afterward (from closer observation to my sleeping pattern recently), so it seemed fairly natural to try a DEILD approach. Since I went to sleep around 10:30 PM, I'm assuming this happened at around 2:30 AM (and since I later awoke at ~4:00 AM, this seems plausible). In any case:
I wake up, but keep my eyes close and instantly feel the sensation of falling asleep, but I was completely lucid as it was happening. I was very aware of falling asleep, and was certain I managed it, but my mind decided to be a jackass, and I dreamed of myself, in bed, trying to be lucid. In fact, its almost indistinguishable from when I first went to sleep, putting some doubt in my mind as to whether or not I actually managed to fall asleep originally. In any case, in my dream my eyes are still closed and I'm lying face down on my bed. I turn over, and again feel the sensation of falling asleep, but this time hear voices right next to my bed (first a man's, and later a woman's) as I'm doing so. I tell myself this was all part of obtaining lucidity, and to disregard the voices as they were by-products of this process.
So I think I was lucid for all the span of 2 seconds. Mind: 1, me: 0.
After a little while though, dream me decides to freak out, and I lurch out of bed, throwing my arms in the direction of the voice. As expected, nothing is there, I feel kind of like an idiot, as I threw away a very good opportunity (should've done a reality check). Now that I'm up though, my sister enters my room in my apartment and sits down next to the bed. We talk for a bit, and I tell her about my "lucid" experience. In response, she pulls out a FoxTrot Comic Strip Book, and points at a Sunday strip. I saw all the details clearly (and one particular panel with Jason staring at the reader), and we took turns continuing the conversation with lines from the comic strip.
I got up and walked out of my room as I heard cooking in the kitchen. There was a pot of spam and eggs being heated on one stovetop, and a pot of steak, with bits of green pepper in the other. My sister began draining the pot with eggs, and I started stirring the pot with bits of steak. I suddenly knew my mother was where my roommate should be, getting ready for work, and, looking into the pot, which was sizzling and popping as I would expect (it also looked very tasty, and I could see the steak and drops of oil bubbling), noticed there was only a little bit. I concluded my mom made this for herself, and made the other pot of food, which had a lot more for my sister and I before she left for the day.
She came out, and I put away the wooden spoon. She might've thanked me for stirring the food or something, and then I awoke, and couldn't fall back asleep.
