    Lucid Dreams

    1. Dream Journal #1, September 14th, 2013

I've been dream journaling for almost a month now, but I've only just decided to start posting them here. I'm hoping it'll help me to think of lucid dreaming a bit more in the day as well as the morning and the night.
This was the dream that got me into lucid dreaming Sorry if it seems a bit silly.

      Lucid Dream

I see myself surrounded by giant robots in the third person. They try to stomp on me, but I dodge them. I manage to jump between one of the robots legs, but another kicks me and I go flying into a robots stomach. I land inside a stomach compartment, my view changes to first person and the scene changes to the steampunk-esque engine room of a submarine.
There is a shark person working on a computer. I get a radio message from a woman telling me to sabotage the engine room. I pick up a rock and throw it at a round computer monitor, but it just bounces off. The shark person notices me, and starts yelling at me. Some more shark people come in and start yelling at me with him. They then start arguing with each other, and I slip out of the engine room.
I am in a submarine high school, and there are shark people students and human students everywhere. I go right from the engine room, pass a cafeteria, and go up a metal spiral staircase. At the top, I fall over next to stairs, and can't get up. My limbs feel impossibly heavy, as if they're being held down by huge weights, something that used to happen to me a lot in dreams but hasn't happened to me for a while now. I manage to pull myself up using the railings, and lean against them.
Everyone is staring at me and I feel awkward. The railings suddenly collapse under me, and I fall down the stairs holding a piece of the railings. At the bottom, a strict old shark woman with white hair in a bun glares at me and gives me a lecture for breaking school property. After the lecture is over, I decide to go back to the engine room.
On the way there, two girls come out of the cafeteria. One of them points to me and says to the other, "This is the handsome boy I mentioned.", and they both giggle. I say "Thanks, I am very handsome aren't I?" (I'm not actually this arrogant in real life, I don't know what was going on here), and they both giggle again. They walk away from me, and I keep heading back to the engine room. I stop outside its door, and suddenly
      realise I'm dreaming.
I remember I'd heard about lucid dreaming before but never bothered about it. I decide to try flying to see if super powers and things actually work. I immediately fly up, my arms sticking out ahead of me like superman, and the ceiling shoots up above me so that I can properly fly around the room.
Before I can properly try out my new found flying abilities, I get a really uncomfortable feeling, like something is watching me and has become angry at me for breaking the rules. I suddenly get a vision of the two girls from the cafeteria covered in blood with red eyes staring at me. I decide that I should probably leave the dream now. I try to slap myself, but my arm slows down and my arm feels held back like before at the stairs, so I know it's useless. I'm starting to feel quite anxious now, so I close my eyes and will myself to wake up. I float through a kind of black void for a second, and then
      I wake up.
I log onto the computer and research lucid dreaming, and I come across this site. I make an account, and the rest is history, albeit rather short history.

      Thanks for reading!
