      Lucid Dream

So, I've been frustrated recently with not being able to recall my dreams, however this one pleased me, since I became lucid. And it contained copious amounts of sexual content, which I edited. >.> Anywho, I was laying on the couch watching Criminal Minds when I fell asleep...

I found myself in a cell, and looked around myself. I saw my friend Nathan sitting on a bed, with tan sheets. He had one foot up on the bed, and just nodded at me. On the other side of the room, my brother, Miguel, was simply laying down on another bed looking at the ceiling. I asked them what was going on, to which Nathan replied,

"We went back in time, and got arrested..."

After that, memories of this arrest came back to me. So I simply nodded and stood up. I walked up to the cell bars and tried to see outside the cell as best I could. Indeed, it appeared as if we went back in time since everyone else was wearing things that you'd see in Medieval times. Chain mail, peasants, guards carrying maces... you know. Anyways, I turned back around and leaned against the cell bars, and saw Nathan drawing with a marker on the stone wall. He goes on to explain to me that we got here by drawing a portal with a marker. (I lol'd) He said he was trying to get back to our time period, but the portal wasn't working like it was before. Nathan would draw the circle, but then the mark on the wall would simply disappear. I asked him if I could try, and he tossed me the marker. I walked up to the bed and stepped up, getting close to the wall. I drew a large circle, but it just disappeared like before. I tried again and again, to no avail. After awhile, I simply gave up. Nathan convinced me to try again, and this time, the circle took the appearance of the surface of water, and when you touched it, it felt like your hand was wet, although there was nothing on it. So we all simply slipped through it, and appeared in some building.

We were in an elevator, and I heard the woman next to us talking to her daughter. I didn't hear what she was saying beforehand, but one thing she said caught my attention...

"...but since we're in a dream..."

And that made it click for me.
I looked around the elevator thinking, This is a dream! It's a dream! I remembered not to get too excited, or else I'd wake up. So I decided to examine my hands in order to prolong my lucidness. I can see all the lines and such in my hand, and after a few minutes, I look up around myself. Everything is much clearer than before. I want to change my location, so I close my eyes.

When I open them, I'm laying down on the couch in the living room. It's completely dark, just like it would be if I normally woke up at night. I figured I had simply woke up from my dream, but then I remembered that I should do a Reality Check.
(I think it should be noted that I never remember to do those...) So I go to the clock in the kitchen, and it reads 5:24. I turn and look at it again, and it's changed to 4:37. Odd. But not enough to convince me. (apparently in the dream, at least.) So I walked back to my room, which was right down the hallway, and turned the light switch, since I recalled that light switches typically won't work in dreams because it's difficult for the brain to adjust all the colors because of the light. Or something like that. But then I remembered, Wait, we don't have a lightbulb in our room. So then I went over to the bathroom and flipped the switch. No lights. Which was odd, considering there are four lightbulbs, at least one should work. So just for the sake of making sure I was right, I flipped the switch in my mom's room. No light. At that point, I conclude that I am still asleep. And this is where it gets weird. I turn to the bathroom and I see a goat. A freaking goat, in my bathroom. It scared the crap out of me. And then it proceeded to kick the crap out of me. At this point, either my memory fails me, or I wake up.

My brother tells me that the two times that I recalled in my dreams are two different times that I woke up at night. Weird.
Also, lucid dreams are surprisingly realistic. I mean, I couldn't tell the difference between the fact that I was dreaming and that it wasn't reality. o-o
