I was supposedly around my neighbourhood, though there was little resemblance. I was walking down to the QU, and I think I was with someone. We passed this whole other strange neighbourhood. It was quaint, but at the same time really shabby, and it had a really unpleasant vibe. There was a fork in the road that went up a hill, and on all the properties were rickety white wooden townhouses. They were like giant shacks. The paint was torn and peeled away on most of the houses, and the white made it look dirtier than it should have been. The town looked so grungy.
I kept walking south along a sidewalk. Eventually we were walking by massive fields covered with bright green grass. Most of the landscape was empty, save for the few wires and poles here and there. It was like a rural highway, but somehow this was just by my urban neighbourhood.
I eventually ditched whoever my accompanist was, and decided to return from my pointless journey to the QU. I walked back up to the fork in the road. I passed some people along the way, and they had a horribly negative vibe. I walked as quickly as I could. Though it was bright daylight, I was in fear of this odd town. I noticed that all the people were completely silent, which seemed really strange to me.
I decided to make my way down a narrow alleyway between two grungy white townhouses. Apparently this was a shortcut, though I have no idea where it could have led. Then there were two people at the entrance, and I pushed past then, bumping one of their shoulders. They were all girls, maybe 2 or 3 of them. I looked back and said,
"Sorry! I didn't mean to bump you like that!"
All of the sudden they took an aggressive stance. They seemed like they were going to pounce on me. Then I realized that it must have been because I had talked; perhaps that's why the rest of the people in the town were silent.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to talk either!"
At this point I just turned and ran as fast as I could. I was struggling to run, as in all dreams. But then, as I came to a barrier, I realized I had some strange other powers.
I had come to a wire fence. I ran up to it and threw myself against it, knowing my pursuers were close behind. As I was looking through it, the wire vanished from my vision because it was so close to my eyes. Then, with some odd sort of telekinetic willpower, I managed to "push" my body right through the fence. I looked back, and they were still after me. I had no idea how they would get over that fence; I felt that they didn't have those same powers, but at the same time, I knew they would somehow overcome it and still yet chase me down.
I was running all across this dreamland, trying to escape. I wasn't so fearful now with my new powers; it was almost fun. I remember running across giant fields, massive deserts, at one point I was at some icy tundra near a frozen pond and some frozen cattails emerging from it.
The last of the adventure was when I reached a little cottage-like house in the middle of nowhere. I went right up to the door and pressed my face against it. It was a little harder to phase into the other side. Unlike the fence, this was a solid object. As I pressed my face forward, I projected my eyes' focus forward, hoping it would somehow penetrate the thick wooden door. I felt a sort of pushing motion in my head, and suddenly I could see through to the other side. I willed my whole body through, and felt the door sort of warp as I fell through.
I ran up the wooden stairs. The whole house was just wooden, a polished dark brown. Here yet was another door to get out again, and I phased through it too. Then the dream ended.
