Asking a DC who they are.

Well, I can't remember much of this one as I had numerous dreams that I can remember and they've all muddled in to one.

    Lucid
    Narrative

So.. I randomly woke up at 5 o clock after having 4-5 hours of sleep. I knew this was a perfect time to try and jump straight in to a dream. So I laid there, and literally, within seconds, I saw imagery of random objects and locations. Then all of a sudden I realised that I was just in my bed, so I let myself "jump" into the dream.

As I grabbed hold of the imagery, the landscape of a big courtyard come into vision, where the colours of the surroundings got vivider and closer, then the next thing I new, I was inside the dream, looking down at my hands to confirm that I was successful in my transition.

I got the usual sudden rush of adrenaline, and I had no idea what I wanted to accomplish. So, I started to fly around the courtyard. I remembered that I wanted to ask the dream a direct question but I couldn't remember what... so the first thing that came to me was to ask the dream who I was (silly I know) but nothing materialised. I tried asking the dream again, but shouting out, but I felt the dream slipping so I stopped.

I flew around some more and (I think I became non-lucid as I can't remember much). However, the next thing I remember is being in front of a dream character in some complex. I was working for someone, but don't know who. I was interested in looking at the dream characters eyes to see what they were like, but I got a little frightened, and I stopped this. All I can remember is that they were all brown coloured (from my distance that I was checking from).

I asked a DC who they are, and they replied, "I am you". Unsatisfied with this response, I asked for their name and they just looked at my awkwardly and gave a nervous laugh.

The dream carried on and I believe I became non-lucid, but I do specifically remember losing the dream (fading to black, and a rumbling noise) but I focused on picturing my hands and I came back to the dream. However, my lucid state merely lasted for the split second when I was concentrating to get back in to the dream.

    A success, nonetheless.
