    Machine Men, With Machine Minds

The overall theme of the dream seemed to have some connections with this video.

I lay in my bed, paralyzed. I lay there for maybe 10 minutes before I realized I can't move. I slowly start getting a bit angry, but not to the point of a blind rage, just a bit annoyed. I finally decide enough is enough and tear myself from my bed. Literally, I start to feel things pull from my body, and I see that pins and needles numbness all around me. I run out of strength before I can get up, I lay on my legs and feel like I melt away.

(everything was monochrome above this for some reason, I want to say astral, but It's been so long since I've remembered a proper dream I can't tell.)

    -scene shift-

YE OLDE BAR, VICTORIAN ERA/1700'S AMERICA

robots have enslaved everyone's minds. I see as I walk around an otherwise Victorian style bar, everyone wears a powdered wig or some other Victorian era garb, but they also have some sort of mind control device, some float around their bodies like levitating hula hoops, others seem to be like goggles. they wear them like fashion statements. I hear "machine men! with machine minds!" I see two people, Thought they were DeadMau5 (but after a quick Google search, I realize they were daft-punk). They were disconnecting people from their devices, and those people in turn were disconnecting others.

    -dream skip-

I am at the headquarters of the corporation, I yell, "MACHINE MEN, WITH MACHINE MINDS! YOU ARE NOT MACHINES, YOU ARE MEN!" (there were women there too by the way, that's just how the quote goes) as I unplug the workers, people who have been programmed to do nothing but work. they thank me and go to unplug others. I find the CEO of the corporation. She is a blonde in a ponytail on a cell phone. everyone is unplugged, we've won. I do nothing to her.

I walk back out, the room has become empty and white, save for the people that were unplugged. time seems to have passed without me realizing it. they are all texting, complacent, uncaring about the world around them. the blonde-ponytail is scheming something even more dastardly. I yell at the people who do nothing, they reply, "I don't care." I wake.
